Germany is still mad about WW2 I see
I think it's the NSA now but even if that was true you have GTA5 on 360 at number 10 and not a single Xbox one game or bit of hardware in the top 100.
You do realize every single one of America's allies also spies on America correct?
The NSA simply got embarrassed with its hand in the cookie jar.
A South American official was quoted as saying, "My country would do it as well, we simply don't have the resources or technology".
It's not so much anger at the fact that NSA is doing it...it's anger that the NSA has so much more resources/tech with which to spy.
Nothing is going to change. It simply looks good for politicians to be seen on TV saying things like "I believe in privacy" and "the NSA has gone too far".
The fact remains that what people will tolerate far LESS than invasion of privacy, whether they will admit it or not, is another large scale terrorist attack like 9/11. So far, in the past 12 years, there hasn't been one on American soil.
If you know another method that is just as effective at preventing a potential attack, give the NSA a call. They would love to hear from you.
