Thinking about getting an XBOX360

I already have a PS3 , but I want the 360 for the exclusives , such as Halo , Left 4 Dead , Fable , Gears of War , and others. I am only looking at the MW2 edition at this moment , it is the best deal. But should I spend 400$ on a system ONLY for the exclusives , I might get a few multiplats if they look better for the 360. But this is something I really want , can you please give me some reasons too get it , and reasons not to get it.

P.S. Do not bad mouth any system , if you say the PS3 sucks then i'll more then likely to ignore what you say. Just leave the whole PS3 vs 360 out of this.

The 360 has games you'd like to play on it. That seems like all the motivation you'd need to me.

That said:

Online costs money, if you want to play, but Live's pretty nice.

The controller's pretty nice, imo.

If you get the MW2 version, you'll get a really nice HDD.

Just depends if the exclusives are worth it to you.

If you have the money to spare why not. It's a good console.

if those are the games your looking for, maybe you should invest in a PC.

i would say the 360 is worth it. You should be well prepared for 2010 cuz both system will offer MAJOR exclusives. 360 will have Halo Reach while PS3 will have God Of War 3 next year.

However, some of those games you mention are playable on PC. So if you have the time and the investment go for the PC build. If not buy the 360. I bought the 360 because games such as NG2, Halo 3, ToV, LO, Soul Calibur 4 and etc arent on the PC platform.

I would just go for the holiday bundle with Pure and Lego Batman. That's what I'm doing. I don't need the extra space on the HDD since all my media is on my 500GB PS3. And I already have MW2 on PS3. Soo. Yeah. I bought Forza 3 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Sure, if you like those exclusives. Don't let the RROD bother you too much, you'll get a warrenty that will probably cover you until the next gen systems come out.

I will say don't bother with the 360, it is better to buy a PC.

When you buy the PC you will realize that it is far superior to consoles and you will never play with consoles anymore.

Yeah because you can play Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Fable 2, etc on the PC.

If you don't want to get a PC, there's plenty of great PC/360 only titles that are worth getting a 360 for.

I would say get a PC though. I just can't stand XBL anymore after playing PC games at my friends house. Community is 100 times better, games run smoother, dedicated servers are better (I never cared for P2P servers) and overall it's just better value.

Most Multipalts perform better on 360, plus the 360 is a really good console. Just looka t the exclusives, and see how many theyre are that you want. If you only want it for like 3 games, than it may not be worth it. But ONLINE is better on 360 and like I said Multiplats are still a bit better on 360.
