I am currently a 360 owner, but honestly outside of the upcoming Gears 2, I'll be playing almsot exclusively all multiplat games. With that said, I am thinking of trading in my 360 for a PS3. All things being equal, the PS3 bests the 360 because of BluRay. What are you opinions!! Oh and I dont have time to own multiple consoles, so it is one or the other with me!!
If you are hardcore, get them all. If you weigh your gaming decisions carefully like me, you'll get the game console that best suits your tastes. You mentioned the only thing you are interested in on 360 on multiplats, then why don't you stay with the 360 since the PS3 has the same issue with multiplats, except many of them are not as good.
You don't have time to own two consoles? What the hell is that supposed to mean? If you have any smarts, you'll KEEP your consoles, and not do the stupid thing of selling them so you can get another one. Why is such a decision stupid? Because, unless you loathe the console you are thinking of selling with every fiber in your body, you WILL regret it eventually, and you will regret it hard. It will haunt you for years.

But 360 has less exclusives than PS3 so getting a PS3 to play multiplats would be...pointless. After thinking about it for a long time, I picked 360 over PS3 b/c of that. You should never trade in your 360 and get a PS3 in the future when it gets more exclusives. Well at least that's what I'll do.
After Gears 2, the 360 has nothing left to compete with except Halo3: Recon, MS's attempt to make up for the lack of MGS4. It's a quasi-next gen system that has barely any life left. PS3 is the way to go dude.
i am like you tc. after GEOW 2, i really dont know what else is good that is coming out for the 360 exclusivily. My pc rig is pretty up to date. just rebuilt it just last week.
but luckly i own both the 360 and ps3. just dotn have a wii. i think you should keep your 360 and just save up for hte ps3.

if you can afford to, buy the PS3 and keep your 360. if not, i frankly advise you to trade it for a PS3, because there's so much coming for the PS3, but so few great games coming to the 360 (i mean, considering both's 08 lineup, and the fact that the PS3 still has God of War 3 to come out, Gran Turismo 5, 2 Team ICO games, etc... the 360 has... Alan Wake?)

I seriously doubt that a slight change in lighting or texture quality makes ps3 multiplats crap. The only multiplat in which there's a serious difference is The Orange Box.

What do you mean you don't have time for multiple consoles? Its not like you have to play twice as much just cause you own 2. I own all 3 and its not like I have to dedicate a certain amount of time to them every day. My Wii and 360 have been the main dust collectors this year, but at least they're still there when a good game comes out.
Seriously its up to you man, if you don't have any more interest in the 360 line up then by all means jump ship. I believe you will regret it though when some great exclusive comes out, or some superior multiplat. Just keep it and save for a PS3.

get a dvd player that upgrades and use the netflix HD service on your 360 for renting
Only get the PS3 if you want the exclusives and thats IF oyu think the PS3 exclusives outweigh the 360 exclusives

If you play mostly multiplats just stay with what you got, But I'd just get both...O wait ...I already own both...HAHAHA
The PS3 is better with exclusives(LBP, MGS4, Warhawk, Resistance, etc) and I would take ps3 over 360 anyday. But advising you to spend more money wouldnt be fair. If you have the extra money than do the trade.

Yeah, go for it! The best of PS3 is yet to come... Plus you'll have a RELIABLE piece of kit, and a Blu-ray player! Plus Home is coming out soon!
I sold my Wii with NO regrets what-so-ever. He could sell his 360 and get the ps3 if he thinks it will make him happy. But what makes him think there are no great games beyond Gears of War 2 is beyond me. I can say this, IF you sell your 360 and only have the PS3, get ready for some frustrating moments with PSN...its not LIVE by any stretch of the imagination. You have been warned.
I sold my 360 for a new PC, and a deeply regret it now. Its better to save and get a PS3 when you have the cash. You can save 2 bucks a day and have it in less than a year, or you can get a job and have it in a month.
I got a PS3 after mt 360 RROD, and I am perfectly happy.
But if I were in your shoes, I would wait till Gears 2 comes out, play it, then sell it around Black Friday (you should get a good price for it around then). Then use the money to get a PS3 and MGS4 ;)
Also, there's a Limited Edition PS3 MGS4 pack (yes, the GunMetal Gray version that I covet very much) on amazon.com that's retailing for $399. It's a great deal - cheapest price on the PS3, awesome looking color, plus the limited edition of MGS4.

All things being equal, 360 multiplats perform better. You can get a bluray player for $199.99 now at future shop, better off with a standalone player anyways, as if it breaks, you don't lose both console and movie player.
