The two best games I have played in a LOOOONNNNGGGG time are.

Mario Galaxy (I own a Wii and love it)

Bioshock (The best game I have played in a really long time and best FPS period (to me at least))

Here is my question. Is Bioshockgoing to go to PS3. The sequel is the only reason I am keeping my 360 right now. That and Gears 2.

Thanks.

Oh and I cant keep all three because the wife would start to get a little upset. 2 kids, a house, 2 cars, 360, wii, quad core pc, ds................. add a PS3 to the equation and I might be getting a divorce J/K.

If you have a good PC, then get Bioshock for PC. I'm sure Gears 2 will eventually make it to PC as well. Bioshock is not coming to the PS3.

bioshock coming to the ps3 is just a rumor.....

and i would still suggest keeping the 360 and then getting a ps3, but if you like the upcoming and current lineup of ps3 games more then the 360's upcoming games then go for it

Well why not?

What about all those issues and complaints over the PC version. Heck you couldn't even walk in the PC version.

Don't sell your 360. There will come many points in time where you will regret it, definitely not worth it. If you want a PS3 just buy it and tell your wife its for blu-ray movies, she'll like that and then you have the X360 for games and the PS3 for blu-ray movie and a few games

And how long was it before that patch came out while 360 users enjoyed the game the way it was meant to be right off the bat?

Keep it if you can. I have all three consoles now and love it (just bought the PS3 a little over a week ago). But if you just don't see enough comin' on the 360 to make it worth it to you to keep it go for it. I love both and just couldn't part with my 360.

Simple really. Should the PC version be superior?

Take call of duty, I own it on the 360 but at my friends I tried it on the PC. There they had the exclusive Christmas map, I was able to do a full 180 degree turn, peek out walls, host matches with more people etc.

Instead for Bioshock it was the other way around so the fact that on the PC you couldn't do something as simple as walk showed that the game was made primarily for the console. Something which apparently had been confirmed.

And last is that an gigantic amount of people had issues with the limited activation/installation process. Creating trouble for many users. For example, "2K servers go down, preventing PC players from completing installation process for single-player, offline game."

You want to trade the console with the best games for the console with the worst games?. What a strange man you are.

Hurry and jump the fence before your 360 redrings. We have lots of good games on this side now and to look forward too. You'll forget all about bioshock once metal gear comes out. Plus free online can't beat that with a rubber stick.

CoD4 Fine.

Bioshock & Walking? I'm sorry? Why do you need to walk? to make the game slower? There was no need to implement walking .. sure I guess that an advantage of Analogs, but walking in shooters? wut? I however do notice the usually superior controls overall on the PC version, and how less annoying the hacking minigame was on the PC Version.

About 2k's servers .... thats not even related to the topic, that doesnt make the PC version inferior ... thats just a bug in the system that was fixed, I could get download servers down on the 360 for beta's and such aswell..

Hell my CD Key for the Battlefield: Bad Company Beta was invalid for like 3 days.

You have a good PC better than mine and I felt there is no reason to get an X360 because all the good X360 games goto PC and are better on PC anyway. PS3 + PC will give you the best of both. That's how I do my gaming.

Really, you have to know you will miss out on some titles either way. And with that being the case, you need to choose the console to give you the biggest bang for your buck.

I too have a family and a wife. That is why I only could buy one console this gen. At least for a year or two. So, I had to look at the gen as a whole and not just one or two years. And I felt that PS3 would serve my and my family's needs throughout. You may vary from that. If so, stick with the 360. My whole point is just to do some research find out what they currently offer and what is likely to happen going forward and you are bound to make the right choice.

Good luck!

My focus was not on walking and walking alone, its just one example of why Bioshock is not better on the PC. Less controls and character actions you see.

And yes 2K servers are related because that also supports why I felt the 360 version was better. When I bought the game I played it straight away without having to wait.

The PC could play the games that are on the 360 now or in the near future. And the PS3 could be used for a lot more than a game console to give the whole family a place to spend quality family time together with movies and then there are several downloadable games that even very young kids could enjoy (some have demos that can be downloaded for free and played just don't have all the game benifits) many of these games are very inexpensive to purchase. Also the on-line service is free and there is always features being added all the time.
