This game is completely different. The gameplay style, action, and everything else is completely different. The only common ground is Gundam. Besides Crossfire was different than any other Gundam game. Musou looks more like Federation vs Zeon or Encounters in Space. Give it a chance.
Wow you guys are really biased to the extreme. Just because one game was bad you condemn a whole series. If Gundam games weren't good it wouldn't be one of the longest running game series. Think beyond Crossfire. Think to FVZ, EIS, or JTJ. Three of the best games.

No its just this game isnt orignal at all, its basicly Dynasty warriors with Gundams skins from what I saw. Also no a game doesnt have to be good to have a long series, as long as the game makes a profit it will continue to be made.
Seriously why do they even bother with Gundam games. It's far more enjoyable watching the animation they do for these games then playing them most of the time. This games look like Dynasty Warriors meets Gundam. A result I'm not sure would go over well with Gundam fans. However a game that actually has Turn A Gundam (my favorite Gundam series I might add), Wing Zero, original Gundam, Zeta, Double Zeta, and Shining or was that God Gundam in the same game gets my vote. However part of the fun is acting like you are piloting a mobile suit with the realities of the show in play. Especially when you are using Universal Century suits where those shows are bit more "realistic" in terms of how suits fight (running out of ammo, easily destroyed, people die left and right, etc). It does look like fun but a damn shame it's out on the PS3. I wonder if they'll port it to the Wii in Japan with it having the largest market share there.
They sure do spam these games out there. Hit and miss. Mostly miss. Only two out of however many Gundams there are scored A even. the best Gundam game is a cell phone game apparently. So I'm gonna take a guess at this being a 5-6-ish game.
Do not hype this. Its a straight rip off of dynasty warriors, just that its with robots. Exactly the same as dynasty. It will score low. The cgi was kewl but when they showed the gameplay it was a turnoff

It's hardly a kid's show. Also, some gundam games have been pretty good like ACE, ACE2, JTJ, EIS, NET, and ZF. I have a feeling that this will be another one of those successful Gundam games. Let's hyped guys!!!!!!! HYPE IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
