that's so pathetic......form your own opinion for crying out loud....Crackdown's demo alone was more than enough to convince me to buy that game.....I feel sorry for you if you solely depend on one website for your info....:lol:

If you enjoyed the demo, why not rent it? :? You know it has an 84% average on Gamerankings, right? I say that's worth at least trying. About the game drought, I do agree. I'm turning to older games that I've missed for entertainment (RE4, Pikmin 2 and MP2).

I am the only one not experiencing this game drought? I bought like a bunch of killer game at christmas... that I'm not finished with at all. I'm buying crackdown, possibly picking up NBA Street... I play gears of war everyday... what drought??? A drought is what I experienced when I owned a gamecube... if you lived through that then you'll know what drought means.

Hey, if that's how he rolls, more power to him. But I'd strongly suggest he take a serious look at the industry average (as far as the score is concerned). "Gamespot" didn't rate the product, the employee did, and then his opinion was posted on Gamespot. Just some perspective :wink:

9 also on Eurogamer.. if you seriously wont try any game below a 8 just because one review site said so(that’s sad first off should at least look at other reviews first no one opinion is perfect) I would recommend Lost Planet I thought it was an excellent game .

Crackdown is an 84.2 on gamerankings, which is a better idea of what the game should be scored due to the score being an average of all the major review groups like gamespot, ign, ect.

Naa, one must learn to take the ownage like a real man. Anyway, most of these guys are cows and sheep who think Gamespot is biased for the Xbox 360, so... Ofcourse they decide not to trust Gamespot, Gamespot commited the sin of scoring Zelda TP a 'bad' score! They scored RFOM a 'bad' score! GS overrated PD0! Yeah, right. Sorry guys, maybe I am owned, but I kida trust Gamespot. My money is hard earned and I just can't afford to buy mediocre games. Gamespot 8.0 is the lowest I'll go, and you can own me... er, I mean, quote me on that. I'm not saying GS is perfect, CSotN and the first MGS are prove that they can suck, but, to be quite honest, they ususally don't make those sort of mistakes anymore. On the other hand, Gamerankings is, to me, a crazy idea. So I won't go there. How can they include scores from the "offcial console magazines"? We all know a magazine dedicated to one particular console usually overrates it's games. Crack Down got a 9 in OXBOX Mag? Please.

Indeed. Crackdown is most definitely worthy of a purchase - it's like Dead Rising in that it's a great game dragged down by details and minor problems. I haven't regretted putting cash down for the game... and I'm not taking into account the Halo 3 Beta.

I think GS gave Project 8 a 7.8 but it's in my top 3 of all 360 games I played cause I like it. It's sad not playing a game you want to play just because of an opinion of someone you don't know.
