To me it needs more RPGs more than anything. I've been playing Resistance which wasn't AAA but in my mind it should have been easily. More AAAs will come soon enough, but we shouldn't underestimate games just because this site gave them an AA.
This gen needs more innovation, more new genres, better narratives in games, more options in games, more open-ended levels, better AI, and we desperately need a game that has good melee combat, like they did in Jedi Outcast... >_>

The only people that want games to flop are people that are not gamers. So basically blind fanboys that dont get that the more good games the better.
What this gen NEEDS is people who realize that even an A game is a fantastic game worth playing. I hardly ever listen to critic reviews. I was able to enjoy Bullet Witch thanks to that.

This gen needs something revolutionary, good thing we got Mass Effect (speech engine), GTA 4Â (size and scope)Â and Crysis (rediculous graphics) coming this year.

Yep... As good as alot of the games are at the moment. Nothing out but Gears makes me think next-gen gaming. And thats not even my style/type of game. End of this year should be good though
Gamers this gen need to stop judging games based on some arbitrary letters/numbers thrown a them by some jerks who work for a magazine or website. You might need more AAA's but I got all the great games I can handle for the moment. Every game I own is a AAA in my books.

Hell yes! I played the first level in Jedi Outcast a couple days ago and after it was all over I said: "This was only the first level!? ****!"
To the TC, what exactly makes a AAA game better than a AA other than score?
