A friend of mine recently said "I feel sorry for those who were born into this crap era of gaming."

I agree aswell, whats even worse is, the price of consoles have doubled, the game prices are still too high, and now theres microtransactions ontop of them ....

Worst Console generation so far, and its why I'm withdrawn to mostly the PC.

I think it will be all good after the holidays. The 360 will have it's signature game - Halo 3 along with a bioware game and more, the wii will have it's big 3 and the ps3 will have...eeer..mmm, wait till 2008.

God of War 2 is a PS2 game not a next gen game. Blue Dragon isn't out so how can you judge it? By the inital reviews its most likely going to turn out not as well as expected. Stranglehold? Is that even out yet? You can't comment on something that doesn't even have one review for it.

It's easy to say things were better back in the good old days humans have been doing it since speech was invented, and maybe even before then if you can communicate it with grunts.

I have found myself playing a lot of PC games lately and a lot of people in GUFU such as Wasdie have now become Hermit. This Winter can't come soon enough because that is the time I actually buy myself a gaming rig rather then play the top tier games on my friends computers.

360 has been out for two years and the ps 3 wii less than a year. then you gave a list of games that was the entire gen last gen. let see not 1 year to 6 years lets see which one would have more games 6 years or not even a year. you people act like this gen is over all ready. man i guess people like rushing there life. im 30 and you now what i don't want to get any older but i will so please stop rushing the years away. this gen just started. please someones said they don't want to wait. well guess what mgs 2 did not come out until year and half sence the lauch of ps 2 and guess what is coming out year and half later also yup you guess it mgs 4. waiting game will all ways be there just look at the ps 2 sails people are playing the waiting game too.GARRYTH

Well we already know the titles that are coming out and there won't be as high a number of quality titles. We can only hope the ones that come out are of such high quality they make up for the small amount.

this generation the games were garbage, last gen everything accept the games were garbage. Ps2 was an ridiculous console that was only sucessful due to the hype it predecessor made (the greatest console of all time, ps1) and because the devs still focused on it. xbox was another atrocity, with halo being its first major franchise all lemmings were branded as halo lovers (halo is my fav. game btw). No wonder they cancelled it but ms learned their mistake from the xbox and corrected it in the 360. Gamecube on the other had will go down in history as a waste of nintendo's talent. They tried to appeal to the casual and hardcore audience and failed miserably. the wii then abandoned the harcore audience entirely.

if you ask me n64/ps1 was the greatest gen. this gen is bad but not as bad as the last one.
