Note: These are the top 10 exclusives on Metacritic for both systems. Personally I find the PS3 destroys the 360, doing this I was quite suprised by how many amazing titles the PS3 has that you can't find anywhere else, a lot of really amazing games had to be left out, titles like the Resistance franchise, Valkyria Chronicles, Infamous, Motorstom franchise etc.. The 360 on the other hand seemed to be much more limited in that regard, having me going further and further down the Metacritic ladder to find 360 exclusives.

What do you guys think?

You should have Alan Wake on the 360 side.

It should have been according to score...remove Uncharted 1 and put either Resistance 2 or Infamous

ps3 defianately stands out lots. the 360 has 4 racers out of 10 games. and ps3 is missing infamous, resistance 1 and/or 2, ratchet and clank.

Lose FM2 and D or A and replace with Lost Odyssey & Crackdown - Also since you limited this to a 360 vs PS3 only comparison then the Huge Gun Mass Effect should be counted for 360 as well. :P

Based on those I'd probably just about go for the PS3, although several of my top 360 exclusives that I like are not listed :(

Since it's obvious that those aren't the best XBOX360 games, I don't think the comparison is valid. The TC is bias anyway, based on thread and posting history.

Beside, "Ultimate Console" should be based on just games, particularly disc games, what about Live and PSN?

i'm shocked at how many of the ps3 heavy hitters that people rave about and that scored well i just didn't care about.

i think that what happened to me was the exact same thing that happened to me when i got sick of nintendo and moved on. with N i got sick of mario and all the rest that i had playd a pile of and with sony i simply got tired of J-dev. other than uncharted 1 and 2 i could care less about the ps3 lineup that you show here. I never even cared enough about mgs to even finish it and it's sitting right here in front of me. yeah i know weird stuff right?

demons souls is like having a job, kz2 is just another shooter, lbpwhich i also own had sloppy controls, hated heavy rain, i never liked any of the ratchet games since i got sick of platforming back in the nintendo days.

now i won't argue that the ps3does not have a better lineup because it prolly does but if i care more about the 360 lineup then it's the one that wins for me.

that's why everything here is so subjective and strange, i can sit here and say that the ps3 is the best console because of what it does and that it has the best lineup because on paper it does but where it counts for me is which one i have had the most fun with and this gen the 360 crushed it as far as fun.

i tend to think sw's selective memory comes into play here in not realizing that i was playing fantastic games for 3 years before sony got their act together.

the important part here is that sony managed to pick themselves up and get back into the game and with any luck learned a valuable lesson on how hype is not as important as delivering on hype.

Exclusive=only able to play on that platform.. If you do not need an Xbox 360 to play the game then it is not exclusive. Mass Effect, and Left for dead are not exclusive.

It was constructive criticism. You left out quality games on both sides, so it didn't seem like a valid comparison. If you are going to limit each console to such a smamm percentage of their total library, even exclusive libraries, you won't get a fair comparison.

And basic math doesn't have bias, but a person can. I have my own biases. They don't come into play here.

GOW #6... OPS its on PC.. don't need an Xbox 360 to play this game.

Apparently the fact 360 share many games with PC isnt a good think for 360. To some it´s even a bad thing since makes them think 360 has no real exclusives.

For all the 360 fans complaining that I didn't put multiplats on the 360 list, this board is called System Wars, the PC exists, this is a board for manticores, I own multiple platforms, exclusives are what makes these platforms different. That's just the way it is. If your a 360 only owner I understand how these multiplats are a major deal, but this thread was made in conjuction with the board it was posted on.

Oh, I did not know GOW was on PC... must have missed that. I stoped playing shooters for a while and this happens... but so is Ghost Recon.
