On consoles I don't have to deal with all this Kinect/Move 'rubbish'. It's called not buying it.Ravensmashim talking more about how thats all everyone on here talks about, i wanna talk about my games, i cant live without my games!

Because everyone knows that FPS games are WAY better with a gamepad. Right?
The only thing PC has over consoles is slightly better graphics.Chrome-
Slightly? At least we can run our games at "HD" resolutions. Oh, and our games look far better then consoles sorry.

Don't even feed into that argument, you can't compare a CPU and GPU that cost 100 bucks for Nintendo/Sony to make to an i7x980 and "akimbo" 5970s.pc gaming awesome for mmo players and rts fans but thats itelbert_b_23
It's easier to list what PC gaming isn't awesome at, as far as games it has goes.
Platforming. I don't see Mario type games on PC.
Hack and Slash-type adventure games. I'd love to see God of War on PC.
i would laugh if you said that when kung fu live , sorcery , playstation move heroes ,socom 4 and killzone 3 are out for the move and i havent tried this but have you played prince of persia on the pc. It would sound comeplecated to play a game like that on pc especailly warrior within combat. The only good thing is that you can sometimes play full games for free on websites eg. go on a website like mini clip and they will have games for free eg. monstur truckyou dont have to deal with all this KINECT, MOVE, and motion control bull****

I'm also a PC gamer and I don't have any problems with motion controls. I don't have a problem in seeing them in the market, but I'm not that interested in them yet, since they're still in their infancy--reason why the only gaming time I've had on a Wii this gen, was because of a few friends Wii's from whom I borrowed.
Motion controls have provided the best control experience I've had with FPSs on a console to this date, and I don't have a problem in seeing this type of control being implemented in games like Killzone 3 for instance. So no, I really don't fully agree with that assessment.

1280x720 is HD.1920x1080p is also HD. I quoted it because it's really just a marketing term. Devs should focus on going for 720p/1080p first before trying to make the game look great. Fixed pixel displays (LCD, plasma) don't look great when displaying content lower than it's native resolution. Yes it is a major problem for me. Also I'm not limited to 30FPS in my FPS games.
pc is great for fps, rpgs, mmos, simulators, free2play games and customization. Consoles are good for playing call of duty on the cheap... Really there isnt much on console year after year that isnt on pc, and there is so much on pc that isnt on console. PC is home of the hardcore, console is the home of casual/cheap.

Yeah because every console game is sub-HD. :?I know not all do, but it seems most exclusives do. Yes I exaggerated a bit, but my point still stands. Personally, I think the best looking console game is God of War 3, but that isn't as good as what we get on PC, exclusvie or not.
Consoles have peaked graphically, we aren't going to see anything totally amazing anymore. Meanwhile PC has gotten great things like Arma 2 and Metro 2033.

What I do is buy a monitor that is around 27-28 inches and is at least 1920x1200 resolution.
The pixel pitch is a little higher but the image will still be more crisp than the high pixel pitches of 40"+ LCD tvs.
Then if I somehow run into a game that won't run at native res I will play at a lower res while not having it scale up.
So basically it will just have a black border around it.
Since it's 27"-28" Something like 1680x1050 will still fill more of the screen than a traditional 22" monitor that has the same native 1680x1050 res.
.
With the large majority of multiplats there is no need to worry as even a mid end PC system of today can push 2560x1600 res for those games.
Only a few multiplats which take advantage of PC hardware will be more taxing on the system, but 1920x1200 still should be easy enough, unless you are talking about Metro 2033 which was more PC focused to begin with.

Don't forget The Witcher 2 which looks beyond amazing.
Oh good point. I'm hoping it'll be Crysis-modded good. I may be dreaming but it's a damn good dream. And about your previous post, my monitor is a 23" Samsung, 16x9, 2048x1152 res. PS3, 360, and Wii (except for a few titles) upscale perfectly. I'm surprised how well some games on the Wii actually look. On the other hand, I found Reach to look very bad while games like Red Steel 2 and SMG look fantastic. It varies from title to title for each platform it seems.
And yeah most mutliplats run extremely well on PC. A good example is MW2. Looks better, and runs like a champ even with 8x AA. You could do 1080p 3D and still have 60FPS. One of the sad excepts is Metro 2033. DX9 runs pretty good, but it looks better in DX10 and 11, but it doesn't run well when not in DX9.

Actually, I'm considering Kinect (mainly head movements inside the virtual cockpit) for PC flight sims.

I didn't notice a difference with directx 9 and directx 10 in Metro 2033 and I tried comparing them back and forth in various ways.
right back at yaMove and Kinect aren't required for most games, so I don't really see a point to your post.

Bill Gates: Project Natal/Kinect tech coming to the PC
Gates said it was not just for games, "but for media consumption as a whole, and even if they connect it up to Windows PCs for interacting in terms of meetings, and collaboration, and communication."
Gates said it is an example where the project started in Microsoft research but is now being commercialized by both the Xbox and Windows units. "Both the Xbox guys and the Windows guys latched onto that and now even since they latched onto it the idea of how it can be used in the office is getting much more concrete, and is pretty exciting."
Using your body to control devices makes a lot of sense, Gates said. "I think the value is as great for if you're in the home, as you want to manage your movies, music, home system type stuff, it's very cool there," he said. "And I think there's incredible value as we use that in the office connected to a Windows PC. So Microsoft research and the product groups have a lot going on there, because you can use the cost reduction that will take place over the years to say, why shouldn't that be in most office environments."

A whole hearty Amen coming right back atcha;)
I'm a PC only owner and the problem is not motion controls. The problem is the quick cash games that reign supreme for the moment. The instant good traditional games are made with the motion controls in mind, the instant motion controls will leave LOL territory.
