This is coming from one who likes PS3 the least (Haze related)

In this generation, I can say I've enjoyed my gaming PC and my 360 way more than my Wii and PS3. For a while, I was thinking my ps3 purchase was a waste of money, as I'll likely buy multiplats on 360, and not a lot of exclusives appeal to me. ( A lot, anyways)

However.

I have no idea why people are doubting, let alone bashing, Haze. I just finished the demo, and I really, really enjoyed it. I've heard people complain about the visuals, saying the foilage is flat. Well, flat or not, the visuals are better than "pretty good" in the game. The gameplay feels rock solid (nothing incredibly new, but solid) and the Necter is a very cool aspect of the game.

Then there is the story. Honestly, I've never been so interested in a game after playing it's demo as I am with Haze. Honestly. And I've played a LOT of good demos to very good games. Maybe the story isn't amazing in the eyes of most people, I don't know. But, in my opinion, the idea of a drug being brought into warfare is interesting alone. THEN you start finding out this "helpful" drug is beginning to screw with you, in a kind of spooky way. I can't wait to see what it actually does to the character and other people, and how much the bad side-effects gets involved in the story. Plus, the story is also laced (appropriate, huh? haha) with lies and control of the government, which could end with bad, bad things happening.

This is no Halo clone. This isn't "just like every other boring shooter". It looks good, it plays good, and the story is very interesting to me, and sounds good. The game isn't ground-breaking or a revolution of the FPS genre by any means, but this game defintiely has my interest, and I beleive it will be a great, MAYBE even fantastic game.

Make all the jokes you want about the game, but I think it has the potential to be great.

I am and I'm not, I guess..... I actually thought Haze's graphics were really good (not amazing, but still), and it's not like I don't see good visuals ever. I pc game using two 8800GTX OC SLI with 6 gigs of ram, lol.

eh... it should try... I didn't play the demo but I think every game released should try to be better than the ones that came out the week before... visually and such.

Then play it! Make a new account on your PS3 but make it a UK account.

looks great cant wait to play it will have alot of staying power unlike geOW or geOW 2 coming out

okay i will buy haze when it gets out i cant get demoes and all my clips are sd (hd is too long to download) so i base all my purcuses on reviews i cant trust gamespot cause 9.5 for smash bros is way too much for that cheap 2D game so

since you are not hard core gamer but a normal peron like me and there for i will take your word

i got mine preordered already..

can't wait to play Halo on a PS3.. ;)

That is really, really ugly. If the actual game is like this, I'm cancelling 100%.

i liked the demo, Haze looks like a solid FPS, the graphics are good, dont seem mind blowing but not bad either... in the end as long as the gameplay is fast,frantic and runs smoothly its ok with me..

also we just saw a small part of Haze in the demo, other environments will definately look better cause its not in the devs interest to give away the best parts in a demo...
