I'm not sure why you're listing games that are already out. Also, Fallout 4 for this year? Maybe, but I don't think it's announced yet. I'd say it's more likely to come next year.

Anyway, from that list my most wanted are Fallout 4 and Persona 5.

Bethesda have listed it for 2015 on the official site.

Weakest lock ever. Has much has i hope to be proven wrong. Hell, inxile is already kickstarting The Bard's Tale 4 with a release for late 2017.

Three separate times, Atlus has confirmed it for a 2015 release. As of right now, it's a 2015 release. Could it miss that release date later? Sure. But right now, any RPG that released, is releasing, or is projected to be released, in 2015 is fair game for this thread.

There's not much speculation when you're just going by the official word.

Not yet confirmed or even projected for 2015. They have categorically tiptoed around giving it a release date so far.

That said, I have no doubt an announcement is coming at E3.

+1, if it's to believed that it's out on the day that Windows 10 premieres, then it's out on July 29.

Only that it's slated for 2015 but don't take my word though, I be surprise if Sony talks about it at E3 but likely at Tokyo Game Show.

That's pretty early. I wanna say I don't think Microsoft would give it that short of a hype cycle, but hey, for all we know, that announcement is made at E3 in a couple of weeks.

Will certainly be simething I keep my eye on, though, the asymmetric multiplayer is the kind of thing I imagined/hoped Nintendo would do on Wii U.

You can cut Fable and Disgea. It would improve that list, shit throw Etrian Odyssey out while you're at it. Definitely Tales as well, the fucking Call of Duty of jrpgs.

In total, I am interested in 4 RPGs this year (Serpent of the Staglands was not listed). Which isnt too bad.

Yeah, but it's not alone in its awfulness. There is Disgea, Etrian Odyssey, that bullshit ass farming game because people like work simulators.

Lets not just purge Fable, we should aim to purge all of its comrades in shitdom.

Don't like niche and nasty jrpgs so I wouldn't know. Fable was a hyped franchise for Xbox that happened to catch my attention, wasn't remotely engaging. And Charizard loves that depraved japanese slop does he not? Not really suprised with that list lol.

See to me I don't see Sony's lock on the JRPG library a huge win. You get maby one or two genuine good games out of a sea of shit. Persona 5 will be good, then you're struggling.

monster hunter is a RPG?

These are the ones im looking forward to or need to get to. The only one that has less hype is P5 mainly cause the character design leaves alot to be desired compared to 3&4 I just hope its better in the final product.

• Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker - I decided to skip on that for now, I still l haven't finished Persona Q yet, and I've Majora's Mask to play still. I still have my DS version I haven't played. The friggin 3DS game is 50 goddamn dollars. I think I'll stick with my DS version until the 3DS one is $20. Didn't take long for SMTIV or Soul Hackers to hit $20.
• Final Fantasy Type-0 - I would have gotten this if the price were right, but at $60 they're just exploiting the FFXV demo. Will wait until a digital price drop to $30, I'd of gotten it at launch for $40 but given I've had to wait it'll be for less now. It's $40 already for a disc version, but I want digital. I can wait it out, I got a huge backlist to tackle ATM.
• Bloodborne and Persona 5, I mainly want a PS4 for P5 but Bloodborne will be a welcome treat to get along with it.
• Fallout 4 - is that even coming out this year? Plus, I'm the only one worried about Bethesda's auto-generated quest asset making its way into a Fallout game. Nobody is calling Bethesda out on this when doing so might save us from such a bullshit feature.
• the Etrian games I might give a try later, after I've finished the first Untold (well, remake of the first EO game), considering I like it
• TW3, I may give this a shot down the line. I didn't much care for the 2nd game though, so I might not.

Oh and is have st moon even a rpg? I know little about it except for what's on the box. I always thought it was a farming simulator for little kids in the pre-teen age group... am I wrong on that?

Tons to play in my favorite genre alone, too bad for xboners though they just get 3 of these... but they don't like rpgs anyway :p

Currently working on Bloodborne, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I need to hop back into Type-0 HD. of what I played, each game is amazing.

Really looking forward to Persona 5 and Xenoblade X. After Bloodborne I may nab Dark Souls 2... And I still need to get The Witcher 3. And I'm interested in trying Fable Legends, though I don't expect much.

Bloodeborne didn't do it for me. I wouldn't even call it an RPG.

Still playing TW3 and having a blast.

I guess for upcoming, I will take a look at Fallout 4.

By far the best year of all time for the genre. Enjoy it while you can. And if Fallout 4 indeed makes it through before Christmas, it's epic.
