A rewards system for xboxlive. Depending on how high your gamerscore is, you get different rewards from time to time. For example, Ms points free xbox live for a period of time, free themes, pics etc. free movie rentals, map packs DLC.

it sounds trivial but i really think this could highly improve the value of gamerscore as it is relatively useless.

Nah, they don't charge for e-peen enlargement, so I'm pretty certain MS feels justified in not giving away more free stuff.

That would definitely be a surprise for Xbox Live members. We've wanted something like that since launch. :P

it would be cool to have that kind of stuff. i don't care to much about achivements so i don't do anything with them. Microsoft doesn't like giving away free things at all. iam2green

Last time I remember M$ giving something free was the limited Gears of War 1 Map pack with Subway and the other maps lol

You know some people may find the thing pointless, but it actually has potential for MS and gaming companies to earn more.

Example: Gold Members are given a reward when they earn 10,000 points.

This may sound ridiculous to some people, but here's the thing: it gives people more incentive to buy games to acquire those points. It would almost work like how credit cards earn miles for flying. Get enough gamer points, and you get something out of it. More points would result in more games bought, and more games bought equals more money.
