Now if you seen me post here before, you would know that Killzone 2 is my favorite game for the PS3. So the other day, I couldnt start it because it was scratched, so I took it back to the store (called gamedaily or something) and I ask them to replace it (and I have a warranty), then they told me "you scratched it". WHAT THE HELL DO THEY THINK HAPPENED!!!!!!!! Of course it was scratched. So they didnt replace my game.

Anyone knows a good place to rent and buy games??? Cause that was crap!!!!!

Some places that sell usedCD's have the CD/DVD buffer machine. If you can find a CD warehouse or another store like it they might have this device. They usually charge $2.00 for the buff but its worth it if the disk is not damaged internally. The buffer leaves the disk in like new condition.

I shouldve clarified. I never scratched it on purpose, it became scratched some sort of way. I apologize if thats the incorrect terminology for this situation.

Blu rays are scratch resistant not scratch proof, they still get scratched. Maybe BlockBuster will do the trick.

yes. I didnt know it was hard for it to be scratched, I have always been so distinct in making sure that my games are always protected and in the case. Butlets just say over the past couple of years, ive dropped the ball with doing that :P

Maybe you should buy a used copy then return it, so you can get your money back.

I have heard other stores do that. The price of the disc is no more than 1 dollar, and for a DVDR it isnt more than 20 cents.

exactly. warrenties dont cover user negligence. they cover manufactures defects....in most cases. this is one of those cases. you know how much money a business would lose if that was the case?

I've seen PS3 discs scratched so bad you can't get any reflection from them, but still play.

Anyway, get it professionally polished. It cost £1 at Gamestation if your in the UK.

Blu-rays are known to be highly scratch resistant TC. So depending on how messed up this game is, the employee would be able to blame you for being carelessness or scratching it intentionally. I mean really, you must have had the discs lying around unprotected for ages.
