Brawl, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Lost Odyssey, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Warhawk, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, NBA Live 08, NBA 2K8, Conan, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, EA Playground, Clive Barker's Jericho, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Need for Speed ProStreet, Assassin's Creed, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, The Simpsons Game, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Virtua Fighter 5, TimeShift, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, World in Conflict, Beowulf, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008, Army of Two, Brothers In Arms Hell's Highway, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, SimCity Societies, Rock Band, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, Universe at War: Earth Assault, SOCOM: Confrontation, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Devil May Cry 4, Unreal Tournament 3, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

and you know what? theres about 3 times more than that. i ask who who has enough money to cover a fraction of the games he/she wants? i have20 games i want but due to being 15 years oldi can only afford 4 and thats working my blood and sweat out and selling candy at band practices. i wish for the first time that some games would get pushed back. i need the christmas money too.(imm not selfish i try to get other people gifts to). noone can dare begin to understand how much they will have to miss out on. this season it really does pay to be a fanboy. or in this case save:D

You're right. I'll be applying for a job soon though. I just got a car, so I need to get a job to help maintain it, and I'll earn some spending money too to help pay for my crazy list of games I want. I think renting kind of sucks. All the games at my video store are scratched to hell. Oblivion had a freaking gouge in it. It was like someone took a knife and had a hayday with the disk. Plus, renting isn't always cheap. I do it once in a while if I'm not quite sure about a game. Most of the time I know what I'll like though.

One of the smartest posts I have ever read on system wars. you fanboys hype all these games trying to brag about your system and then are stupid enough to get caught up in all the hype.

Every freaking year 20 to 30 games get AAA hype and every freaking year only a small handful turn out to be truly great games.

This year is looking very good though. I expect Halo 3, ME, Bioshock, SMG, HS, and possibly Brawl to all get AAA. All the others are up in the air imo.

I have a wii as well. PS3 games don't interest me as much right now (I'm buying one in2008 when some of the big hitters come and it is a bit cheaper).

Just be very careful in choosing which games you buy. Check out the previews and reviews of the games you want the most. The ones with the most replayability and longevity are the ones you should get. You'll forget about the other games you can't afford....if they're really good games. majadamus
