The first 360 died of crappy manufacturing, second one died of a broken heart (the first 360 was it's lover) and the third one was killed by the second on since it had an affair with the first one.
i feel bad for those guys. mine crapped out on april fools day. it was working in the morning, then in the afternoon, i wanted to watch a video and i got the 3 red lights. took almost a week for me to get the box despite the fact the ups postage on the side 3 day express delivery. it'll be another week or two before i get it back, and if it craps out, someone at ms is going to get an earful.

Heh, mine has never had a problem and it's a launch console. I don't know anyone that has had a problem with their 360. I suppose since he's only had 3 broken and i know more than 8 people with a 360 and none have had a problem, my opinion is better. :roll:
Seriously, some 360's are going to bust. The defective rate is around 5%, which is already above the 3% average. This doesn't need to be cited in order to help people feel better about themselves.

Link? Anyways, hardware failure is a big problem and needs to be resolved, btw april 14 is my bday and my 360`s bday, it`ll suck if it craps out on that day :(.

I know some systems break down and its gonna happen with a few of them, but 3 in the same house? That is very bad, I mean for all 3 of there xbox 360's to have had this problem, just shows u how much of a dream team MS put together to create this death machine. I will be honest and say the xbox 360 does have great games for it, but this here gets me kind of worried that my xbox 360 will prolly have this problem at anytime. I guess alot of people were right when they said, MS is rushing there system.
The 360's hardware is CRAP. These reports have never slowed down. Infact, there are more reports of broken 360s now than ever before. Any reports of PS3s breaking? Hardly any at all. Any reports of Wiis breaking? Almost none.
Could it of been some kind of problem with the house's outlets? Like surges or something? I'm not trying to defend the 360 or anything but that is really ironic.

nah. doubt it. it was plugged into a surge protector just like the rest of my home theatre equipment. i don't know about the other guys though.
