This is VERY important....

As a gamer, I am torn. I really don't know what to do. I want to get an original (not slim) used PS3 for around $200 for it's exclusives and Blu-Ray player. BUT, I also really want the 3DS because of it's awesomeness! I already have most of the other systems' so I want to get ONE of them between now and March since I only have the money for one. (yes I'm poor) I really want them both badly!! So this is where I need your help. I need you, the Gamespot community to vote on and decide for me which one to get! GO GO GO! System warr!!!

the 3ds will have tons of amazing games, but not at launch :( (that's for sure)

$200 PS3 is too fishy get 3DS since you got a 360 + gaming PC already.

I would not even hesitate between a ps3 and a 3ds (and I play more on 360), but i'd get a ps3 anytime/day/night/sober/not sober over a 3ds ;)

There's 12 exclusives I'm buying for the ps3 this year.

Besides, it wouldn't be redundant unless there were NO games he couldn't get elsewhere besides the ps3.

PS3. Not only are the games better, the best ones are cheaper than any 3DS games by now. You can find Uncharted 2 for $30, MGS4 for $10, KZ2 someone will give you. Play the older games and you'll save a TON of money. 3DS... it will get better and cheaper over time. NOT the time to get.

I say PS3, even though i just pre-ordered the 3DS from Amazon.

I may reconsider on the 3DS. It has bad battery life. The 3D might get annoying. It could take awhile for a really good game library, it is $250 BUCKS, the controls might be a bit uncomfortable for some games, and there is bound to be a price drop and re-design within a year or so.

But the PS3 is full of awesome; the games, the games, the games, and the under-rated Move. LBP2 is so much fun. Killzone 3 right around the corner, Dead Space 2 with Extraction is win, win, Sorcery for the Move coming soon, spectacular Motorstorm Apocalypse and Infamous 2 in the summer.

Do you have a regular DS yet? If not, the library of games for the DS is something to consider on top of the library of 3DS games.

Get a PS3 and get the 3DS later imo.

Most people have told you their opinion and I concur: PS3 has a proven line up and while 3Ds looks good, you should really wait 'til it gets better. At least that's what I'm gonna do.

The vast majority of announced 3DS games look amazing to me, I couldn't name 'em all. But that doesn't mean they'll be good just because of the 3D. I know just about all the PS3 exclusives are quite good from what I've heard. So as far as games, I know the PS3 has good ones, but the 3DS games look just as appealing (or more).Metroid827
