Xbox for going out early, getting good games out, forming a fanbase, and being in better position to force Sony to play catchup. I don't really care too much about MS' financial "woes" as long as the 360 doesn't get killed during the generation.

I think Microsoft releasing it at its time is better since we do have better and more games to play now :). Plus, the fanbase and price is the most important.
