Why are we paying $60 for games that look almost exactly like the $50 ones we used to buy? why do we need these "current generation powerhouses" to play them? im i the only personwho is annoyed by the fact that we are a year into the next generation and this is all we have to show for it?

I've played Resistance, and there's a noticeable difference.

You're talking complete nonsense. It's nice to use simple low-res images, but games in motion are amazing. Gears of War, Forza 2, Kameo, DiRT, GRAW and Oblivion are all amazingly good-looking games.

Forza 2, i dowlaoded the demo the day after it came and that is embarrasing to even compare that to what the current gen looks like. I already said gears is an exception. The precious Halo 2.5 is looking less and less graphically appealing. I feel sorry for people who think the Ps3 version of UT will even compare to those PC screens.

Because it's a LAUNCH GAME and therefore not made for the hardware specifically, rather made on the PC and ported over when it's complete. Is this the first time you've witnessed a proper transition from one gen to the other? Only so far you've demonstrated only the fact that you really dont know what you're talking about.
