Halo 3 looks great, but Bungie really didn't "raise the bar" for FPS games in ANY aspect. It's just more of the same stuff FPS gamers should be used to by now.

Never on the scale you will see with Halo 3. Agreed the feature set has been around for the PC.. But the amount of people consolidated on XBL being able to do this will be unreal..

Halo has always been the most played muliplayer game ever.. and this game just upped the ante by a lot!

We're at the point where there's no ground-breaking thing to do to the fps genre, or name a single game that has reinvented the fps formula in the last 3 years. There is none, Halo 3 stands out because it has all the great things a fps should have plus little details that make it unique, basically it's the most complete console fps.

Could you please name a few shooters better then Halo? After thinking about it, I couldnt think of any shooter i've had more fun playing, both single player & multiplayer, and I've played plenty.
