because its not childish like the 360 and the Wii with their avatars and motion control crap, all I wanna do when i get home is play relaxed while sitting in the couch rather than be standing doing a whole bunch of dumb stuff with the controller

.The 360 doesn't have any motion control crap (yet) and you don't have to stand around doing a bunch of dumb stuff with the controller.Floppy_Jim
no, but the controller is a dumb
i like the ps3 more too, but your post just sounded very fanboyish. you dont need to use the avitars they just stand there, 360 and ps3 are basicly the same thing. i can understand the wii part a little as i dont like waggling after a full day of factory work but still in alot of the games i play you dont really move that much or i can use the wavebird since all i really play is SSBB
Im pretty sure Sony showed of a motion controller at their conference or was that just me?aero250Ah yes, the ball on a stick :P Guess the TC "forgot" that.

The 360's controller? :? What's wrong with it?what do you mean "whats wrong with it?"
The D-Pad goes into a different direction then what you press.
The analogs have no grip and the button layout is a perfect diamond, so if you wanna press the button directly opposite it's alot harder than the jelly button layout of the DUKE/SNES.
Even the dualshock is easier because the buttons are more flat and don't feel like the candy nerds.

I like the majority love the 360 controller so your post is opinion and i hate the PS3 r2 l2 buttons. The 360's controller? :? What's wrong with it?Floppy_Jim
im pretty sure he made that clear...
...the controller is a dumb

the sticks have plenty of grip and everything feels great on 360 controller except maybe D-Pad...which is mediocre on DS3 too
The Wii is not really childish, I hear that excuse often from people who had never tried it. The 360 is childish? From what I've heard, several people stereotyped the 360 as "blood-and-gore". I can agree with the motion control thing, I miss the times when I go into my friend's house playing a 4 player game with a controller.because its not childish like the 360 and the Wii with their avatars and motion control crap, all I wanna do when i get home is play relaxed while sitting in the couch rather than be standing doing a whole bunch of dumb stuff with the controller

No, even the shell sucks. It feels like one piece of fake wood, it's so slippery
The D-pad thing did happen to me in Gears 2 & Fallout 3 but it's really not that bad. Just a minor annoyance. And how can the analog sticks have no grip if they're concave? The DualShock does have superior face buttons, I'll agree with that.what do you mean "whats wrong with it?"

hardly concaved, look at the DUKE compared to the 360 controller. see my point?
If you could think of it, they can do anything with motion control. I can't see how Project Natal makes you dance. Unless if you were refering moving.the ps3 already has motion cotrols but you dont have to dance around with it like the wii or the future natal, i hope they never release that new motion controller they said on e3

you realized that the PS3 launched with Motion control right ant the 360 doesnt have any of that yet?
and the fact that the PS3 also has those "stupid avatars"

Not compared to the Duke perhaps but I've never found the 360 analogs to have "no grip". I find them to have better grip than the DualShock, maybe that's just me.Six axis doesn't require to move your arms/fore arms up and moving them left and right,up and down ???because its not childish like the 360 and the Wii with their avatars and motion control crap, all I wanna do when i get home is play relaxed while sitting in the couch rather than be standing doing a whole bunch of dumb stuff with the controller

I agree that Nintendo systems are a little kiddish but Xbox 360 has some brutal (but not exclusive) games to it like Fallout 3, Prototype, etc. And does a lot of M rated games make it a better system. I like the PS3 better because of it's online, they don't rip you off, better quality, and so on.
or wait for a dreamcast 3[QUOTE="doobie1975"][QUOTE="threegirlz"]
they both suck, get an SNES and Ps1
tonitorsi
Huh? :?
I'm the dreamcastguy, don't you know that?
360 as of now has no sort of motion control. actually its like the often-over looked middle child... it isnt cute and "childish"... nor is it bad a**, just more like a stuck up kid that really wants to be loved so it just takes everyone elses stuff and when people call it stupid it just closes its ears and cries "NO IM NOT.... YOU ARE!!"
but heck, i have fun with my ps3 so its all good for me :P

1. That is the wekest arguement to like a system ever.
2. You do know that the PS3 is the one with motion controlls, not the 360 right?
so merc when was it confirmed that when natal was released controllers would stop working and every thing would only work with natal?
The 360 becomes more like the Wii at every E3. E3 08, avatars. E3 09, motion control. I hope the 360 doesnt go super casual. I dont think the 360 is "childish" yet.. but it appears to be going that way a bit.carljohnson3456and the ps3 becomes more like the 360 with every e3, and yet they have motion controls before 360 and are adding a new motion control....sixaxis, and the camera thing....where as 360 only has one...

Really? I would've thought someone would have liked a gaming console for the games, but you sure showed me!

Easy big guy. Sixaxis had hardly any impact at all on the whole motion sensing front, and it was hardly casual. More like a gimmick, a failed gimmick. Bottom line, the 360 is going much more family friendly and targetting the Wii's demographic than the PS3 is. No denying the 360 is mimicking the Wii, right down to the cartoony Wii's and the cheesy music that plays when you change their uniforms and they jump up and down with a smile on their face. I love the 360, I have no problem if the 360 goes half casual, so long as the hardcore offerings are there and in plentiful quantities.
