Well let me tell yo...
hmmm, come to think of it, I can't argue against that :lol: :P

The bottom line is that, for games, the Xbox 360 actually appears to be the better machine. Whilst the PS3 has a better CPU (not sure now that the X360 slim is out) the GPU and memory management on the X360 is superior.
In the end the performance capacity of the machine doesn't necessarily translate into good game performance. According to game developer comments the X360 is considerably easier to program and it's memory management avoids many of the bottlenecks the PS3 experiences. This results in better, less buggy games in many cases... or at least less work for the developers to make it so.
The proof is in the pudding. Most cross platform console titles run better on the Xbox 360 than the PS3.
So why do I prefer my PS3 to my X360 then? :(
