I'd agree with him.
9/11 is not something I want to re-enact. Ever.
I still think it is misdirection or a white lie that Rockstar is using until the game is actually released. So then the game will already be out, some kid will youtube it then the politicians will grab ahold of it and Rockstar will have their free advertising w/o fear of legalities because this isn't something they'll advocate, it will just be something dumb users are doing.jdknight21That's kinda what happened with the Hot Coffee scandal, and Rockstar still got raked over the coals for it.

Then don't reenact it. But I don't think that's a reason to remove planes entirely. This is a game, there are plenty of ways to have planes in it while preventing 9/11 re-enactments. Have a secret plane-repellent forcefield around all city landmarks or something... as soon as a plane approaches a target, have it bank away in a safe direction or something.[QUOTE="jdknight21"]I still think it is misdirection or a white lie that Rockstar is using until the game is actually released. Yeah, but no one media wise talks about Hot Coffee anymore, they attracted new fans and the most important people still love them (gamers). I'm sure they've learned from that and at the end of the day it is just a faceless company that took the beating.

They arent forcing you to reenact it. It doesn't make sense for them to exclude planes from this game. It's like taking a step back in time to GTA 3
How idiotic.
Unless the Twin Towers are actually in the game (which I assume they won't be), then it would be impossible to re-enact 9/11 in Liberty City, now wouldn't it?
