why so serious?Yahtzee is a complete idiot.
He doesn't know how to play games. He doesn't know what he likes in games. He doesn't even know what he hates in games. He's not funny. He's not even a good game designer.
I don't know why I still watch his videos, though.

Not funny. Not accurate.
I also like how, out of all people, Yatzhee is complaining about the guy's voice.

Oh great, now when people lie about how difficult it is to find good user created content in LBP, people will now quote Yatzhee to back up their false claims.
It's quite simple, 5 stars usually means it's good, if you're unsure check how many have played and how many have hearted the level. If they are both fairly high then guess what? It will be a good level. Too hard to make good levels? Try harder, it's part of the difficulty that people must adjust to, much like you would if you played an RPG with a steep learning curve. That's just the way user created content works, and allways will.
The review its self was pretty lame, I suppose the introduction was decent, but the rest was boring, and often completely false. Blind ignorance is not funny by its self. If he's not going to try and make the jokes funny or try and make a decent point, then what is he trying to do? Now obviously he didn't have much to write about, but then why write about it at all? I don't know why I keep watching these, seeing as they stoped being original after the 2nd or 3rd, but I suppose it's just something I do to pass the time.

ohh snapHe sort of liked it. Shocking lol. I didn't agree with him at all about being hard to find the better user made levels, it's quite easy actually with the rating system and so on, yahtzee seems to have a lot of false info in his reviews.Eddie-VedderI was thinking the same thing, all you do is go to top rated and ta da you have a bunch of great levels. Also he said going from plain to plain is hard and messes you up, i never had a problem with the plain switching system mainly because it switches you to the right plain in obvious situations, and when you have to do it you press up or down, its not tough. It was a ok video, he was really digging deep though and you can tell.
I feel like making a Zero Punctuation level now

I have a problem with people critising a game, and not realising what they are critisising it for. The review it's self was mostly filler, so it wasn't much to write home about in the first place, but it's Yatzhee so people will say otherwise. Now because of this people will actually belive that the rating system in LBP is broken, which it most certainly is not as anyone who has actually played the game will tell you so. Complaining about having an inability to create levels is a bit pathetic also. "I suck at the game, so it must too." If someone were to tell me FF:Tatics was rubish because it was too hard I would laugh at them, and tell them to keep trying. What's the diffrence here? Here it requires creativity, which is not an easy thing to manipulate. It's like a bad workman blaming his tools, but still recognising them as good tools.

oh snap so true
i dont know why anybody cares what any game reviewer says. after all, theyre just losers like us who happen to have websites. why anybody would care what this guy says makes even less sense because he doesnt even have the veneer of fake credential from a website, or the charm and personality of some bloggers. hes just an uncreative loser who exists to tear things down with the played out deadpan 'humour'.

And anyways, by your post count I'd say you don't need to make an alt account to be a fanboy.

So having 7000 posts gives you the right to be rude to me?
Why did you call me a fanboy when I'm just saying I don't find Yathzee funny?
Not at all, on SW there are an inordinate number of low lvl alt accounts that people use to flame and troll (hence it being boring and repetitive). Its possible I was mistaken adn if thats the case I apologise. However, it wasn't you just being rude about Yatzhee if you look back through the thread ...So having 3000 posts gives you the right to be rude to me?

The only difference is that some of us say those things jokingly, and some take it very seriously, making those the real fanboys.
It's been a long time since I've really laughed at a Zero Punctuation review... And that period of time just got a little longer.musicalmacLOL...I agree. Although what is more amusing are the reactions to his reviews. SW is one of the biggest fair weather fans of Zero Puncuation. They like him when he makes fun of other console's exclusives and hate him when he disses on their favorite games. Overall I think his charm has run out for me. His whole shtick has gotten quite stale. It was amusing when he tore apart really recognized poor games but watching this man nit pick a great game's minor flaws gets very tiresome. Its silly for me to sit and listen to him focus and exaggerate on the 2% of the game that is not so good while ignoring the other 98% of the things in that game that make it on peoples top ten lists of that year. His bitterness is something I prefer to avoid being influenced by in my gaming experience.

It's funny how you assume that he knows the game is good, as if it were a proven fact, but just makes a conscious decision to focus on the bad bits instead (which, coincidentally, sounded like a lot more than "2% of the game" to me). If you'd actually pay attention to the review instead of sitting there fuming because he's criticizing a game you love, you'd see that he explains pretty well why he doesn't like the game. It isn't that he's leaving out the good parts; the problem is that he didn't enjoy those parts as much as you did, so it looks to you like he's being bitter and over-critical.
