Anyone believe in this thing? I mean, I know Wii owners have looked for better controls, and more ways to better get the wii pointers working better, but seriously, THIS THING? I don't know whether to take it as a joke and ignore it or to go to a store, plug it in, and see if it works.....it's just so ****ing small I can't see why this wasn't included in the WII-Remotes themselves, much less sold after all the profit has been made. What do you guys think?

Obviously it's real, why would a company as big as Nintendo lie about their products? :?

It is sort've free it comes with a game, also that tech wasn't capable when the Wii Remote launched but it was what they wanted to put in the Wii Remote from the begining.

The only thing I think is bogus about it is Nintendo hyping the whole twist motion as being unique - I've been twisting and rotating stamps on the photo editor in the photo channel since day one. Other than that, if it gets me closer to my dream of a Star Wars lightsaber simulator, I'm all for it!

Do sheep not have other friends? Or do you all bring your little controllers over when you have a Wii party?

Yes, but that's using the pointer. The Wii-mote can sense when it's being twisted, but what the new Motion+ allows is sensing of several of those motions at the same time.

I only have one controller I figure if anybody wants to play against me buy their own I also bring my controller to other peoples house. But I have no friends that own a Wii except for my Cousin, Grand Parents, and friends that live a few towns over. I don't go to their house to play games in fact I never been to my friends house that lives a few towns over. I only have been to my friends house that lives up the street from me and then we just play N64, GCN, or 360.

Edit* For that when I said "It is sort've free it comes with a game" I was thinking about my issue since I only have one Wii Remote, will only have one Dual Shock 3, and will only have one 360 controller. I'm the only one in my house that plays games my sister lives across the street and she does play games aswell but she has my old GCN since I play GCN games on Wii. Also when we do play Wii it is just passing one controller around. My brother plays videogames but he moved out and took his 360 with him it doesn't work anymore now.

From what i saw it looks like a must have add on. Also if it really does do what it they say (i've seen all the vids they look convincing) then who wouldn't want this? Imagine if red Steel had this instead of us having to use pre-set big swing actions? My only complaint is yes it should have come with the Wii and its going to cost us all.

It sounds fine as an upgrade, it certainly needs it as as as things stand it's just not accurate enough to be satisfying for me. ****, maybe we'll finally have mouse levels of accuracy on the wii, woohoo??

Of course it is real.

As for why the Wii did not have it to begin with, I have no clue, but it is kinda crummy IMO.

Ok, I was a little harsh, sorry. I just get annoyed with the wiimote's innaccuracy sometimes.

So when Sony created the Dual Shock it was a PS1 controller repair kit and should have been free? So when Microsoft and Sega improved the controllers of the Xbox and Saturn, it was a repair kit and should have been free? Dude, Nintendo found a way to improve the controller. The wii-mote works but like every single controller ever made it has it's shortcomings, and Nintendo choose to improve on those short-comings. That is not a "repair kit."

mostly real. i still suspect that there will be a slight delay between doing the action and it happening in the game due to wireless limitations. im talking very small fractions of a second mind. that second motion sensor certainly has the potential to greatly increase accuracy since it gives the wiimote a point of reference in relation to its built in sensor. its not a replacent for the origonal sensor, its a second sensor to work with it id imagine.

should it have been there at the start? probably but this gen has been full of mis haps, this is no different in that regard.
