This year's must-have game

What's the game you would reccomend the most this year?

The rule is though that you have to have played the game in order to reccomend it.

My reccomendation is Metal Gear Solid 4 - I don't think everyone will like it (in fact I know they won't) but I think everyone should at least try the game. I would reccomend you at least look up the plot points on Wikipedia or the Encyclopedia available on PSN though if you're not familiar with the series.

TWEWY, even if its a handheld game; you can play most of the highly acclaimed titles this year, but most of them are all sequels that don't do things too differently from the standard of their genre. This game really does things uniquely.

Well, MGS4 first off. If you don't own this game, you're a communist. No excuses. I don't care if you don't like MGS or don't own a PS3, you need to own this game.

Then GTA4 and... Uh... I don't know. Geometry Wars 2 is pretty good?

So far, MGS4 is...a work of art! The cutscenes are in fact a bit better than the gameplay(Maybe because it's upclose and more crispier) but when the game is in motion, it looks really good as well. (I even tried it on my standard t.v. and it looked a bit on par with my HDTV!) The gameplay is pretty good and takes a few moments to get into.

But the game is hard so far :?(Not really good with stealth games...)

I agree. I dont even like the Metal Gear Series. I got the PS3 last week with MGS4....sheesh. Anyway.....My pick would be MGS4 too. Im hoping Gears 2 is a great game also, but as of now its MGS4.
