I guess we'll all have to love ea from now on.
bioware is now ea, and so we can probably expect mass effect on the ps3 (not published by ms of course)
criterion is ea, and they made paradise, arguably the best racer so far this gen (pure racers are boring)
I wonder if this is singleplayer oriented or more multiplayer like the original C&C3 FPS? I think they will probably make it more singleplayer oriented now, since they do own the BF franchise.cobrax25
Multiplayer should be fun, though. Each player is a squad leader, just like in the game, so there'll be like half a dozen "bots" for each player. If they add good squad commands, it could become pretty strategic compared to most FPSes, because at least there would be SOME modicum of teamwork.
That actually look good. The transforming gun part look cool.Wanderer5
Looked a lot like the gun from Republic Commando.
That whole 'transforming gun original concept' is not so original. I had, a long time ago, a game on my PSX implementing the same type of 'transforming weapon'. I`m not sure about it`s US name, but the European name was Lifeforce Tenka.
[EDIT] Here is a gameplay video of that game http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=AvNMq70CE34

Meh, the concept of a transforming weapon is just an explanation for the guy being able to carry so many different kinds of weapons. It's not that important to gameplay. What those weapons do, however, IS important. I especially like the multiple-warhead SAMs.
