Time of death 6am

The game doesn't kill the system. The 360 kills itself. I'm on my second 360, and I am encountering a lot of performance issues on games that never had problems before. It will probably break down in about two more months.

Now I understand why Microsoft named it the Xbox 360. Because once you buy it, you'll do a 360 back to the store to return and get another one.

I've posted a few times about my friends 360's kicking the bucket.... Mr.Parker, Dominirican, Fulll Metal and Ray Dawgs, well here I am to say that I have joined the ranks of dead 360's.

wanted to play some Crackdown and the system went bonkers, its funny cause someone else in these forums said that Crackdown killed their xbox. well that game has taken its second victim.

oh man! two weeks to get my system back, and to top it off, can't send it till monday, damn thing had to die on a weekend.

Sucks for you. When you get it back you should take it and sell it on ebay then go out and buy a PS3 like I did. They are very reliable. :D

I don't care if its a game system, a television, a dishwasher or whatever, buy the extended warrenty. The store that sold it to you replaces it and you don't have to muck about with sending it away.Riverwolf007

I had a one year warranty, and it ran out last month, I wasn't even aware of it.

Don't worry I have a feeling some people's PS3s will kick the bucket soon.

I gotta say so far im my household, there has been one PS3 with a Dead HDMI port, and 2 PS3's that work perfect, and 2 Xbox 360's that have never had a issue. ( ps3 with dead hdmi port got sold and replaced by a working ps3 )

Between me and my brother growing up and starting from the Atari days of gaming:

Total consoles broke at launch : 1 = ps3 20 gig  with dead HDMI port

Total consoles that broke after launch... none. 

And I would still have my original Nes, SNES, N64, Genesis, 32X, Atari. ect ect ect... if some ****ing Mother******* **** ******* *** ****** *** ******** *********** son of....  you get the point, did not break in to my house and steal my stuff ;(    And insurance did not cover anything :(
