[QUOTE="stika"][QUOTE="hayato_"][QUOTE="stika"][QUOTE="hayato_"][ *sigh* see what Im talking about. I could explain it but then it would give away one of MGS 3s secrets.
Story is one of the best I've every played though. ( and Ive taken alot of advanced Creative Writing classes also )

an arm taking over someone is fisically impossible, even if it is part of some elaborate plot twist it could be that it was just the only way they could find to make that fact semi-believable.
Another thing that bothered me was lady luck, so first she has those powers, then she doesnt it was just a machine convienently straped to her gear that she never noticed it during her entire career, then she gets shot because she doesnt have any power....
but wait.... she does have powers after all, they just somehow stoped working for a short while that was enough to get shot, but she has powers
i mean, i can accept psych mantis´s abilities, as the CIA, KGB and even the nazis spent millions tryin to create a psychic soldier, so i can deal with psycho mantis just fine, but after bosses like lady luck or vamp that simply uses a knife and blocks all incoming bullets... its just too much for me
lol, makes it exciting doesn't it. This story will probably go down in history, but it won't attrach any new people to it. Maybe a couple well have to see.
exciting wouldnt be my choice of words, but everyone is intitled to their opinion :)
You said you never played the 3rd one. I think you should check it out. It ties them together. Maybe thats why you don't like it?
i just cant.... i dont think i will be able to play any MGS any time soon, metal gear 2 just killed it for me, i played in 2002 i think, i still cant get over it
