Seriously, all this disappointment time and time again why cant you guys just wait for a great game to come out instead of hyping the hell out of it? Haven't you learned already? Sony is a great company so please let them come out with a good game before making assumptions, Thank You

Yeah it makes me mad as an ex-cowwhen people hype games that are just so.... lame = looking. Just stick to hyping games you KNOW are going to be good (MGS, FF) instead of ones you THINK are going to be good (Lair, HS). Although if you play the demo of a game and like it - go ahead and hype it. Because you've played it and probably made up your decision about that game and your purchase.

Well, it HASN'T yet.

So no reason why cows cant hype these games, it still haves time to "show and prove" to people it have a chance.

maybe a low AAA..theres no way gamespot will give the ps3 version an AA just because its a year old game. since the 360 version scored an 9.6..im expecting a 9.2 or something

lol, well I was thinking 8.9/10 just to annoy a few people but I guess 9.2 is possible as well.

Happened with RE4 to PS2, and GTA to Xbox so it may happen again.

I don't get really excited about a game unless it's a much wanted comeback from a series (Skies of Arcadia 2 please) or an unexpected game that looks like it's going to pwn (FFXI MMORPG. Sex in a video game). So far, this generation, there aren't any games like that. Sad to say. :(

this is only a name because imtryin to be funny. but just be honest with yourself. so far the ps3 is a let down. I'm not with this termanology of cows lemmings hermits i dont kno who is who but i kno there are serious fan boys on this forum. I own a ps3 and a 360 but the ps3 is collecting dust.

I'm hyping mgs4 a 9.8 on ign, and an 8.9 on gs.
See how I set that up so I wont be dissapointed by gs score, yet I'm still setting high goals for it?

Halo: Combat Evolved is a proven game. Halo 2 is a proven game. Halo3 on the other hand, is completely different. All the hype for Halo3 is comming based off the first 2 games and a commercial with master chief using a ripped backlash grenade from R:FoM. There is no *real* reason as to why Halo3 is hyped so much, the name is what is drawing all the hype. If the first 2 Halo's ceased to exist, and you came across the trailer for Halo3, you really wouldn't see much in it and the hype would be extremely low compared to how it is now. But games like lair, motorstorm or heavenly sword have hype because of the screenshots, gameplay footage, demos or trailers.

GRAW 1 was a AA IMO. It was overhyped and over-scored. My guess is that GRAW 2 shouldn't get AAA since it has only spent a year in development. It will be interesting to see how Oblivion turns out. It will be a true test of the PS3s power. My hunch says that it will be blurry or will lack HDR or it will have severe jaggies. I've already heard that it will have poor load times.

i own motorstorm and its a decent game with the correct score (I would of rated it a 7.5) it isnt anything great it doesnt bring anything new to the table. I think people were so hyped off of the 1st "official gameplay" screens that by the time the game was coming out they still held the faith. The single player is bland, all the vehicles have the same speed, If i get hit by a truck and im on a motorcycle I dont fly off. There are 8 stages but they really dont feel any different from others. The mic has issues, the mud looks good, butit looks like it was just painted on the dirt, sometimes i can fly through solid obstacles...its a decent game but thats it

people have there opinion gamespot is not god they cant tell you what you like or what you should buy people have different opinion we have a right to hype games i think motostorm should have got a higher rateing but thats just me right
