How many of you think SSX Blur will be worth the money.  I love it but can't figure out if its worth a buy yet.  Any idea? :)

I think it'll do fine.  Online play would've been really nice though.

SSX pinaccled with Tricky, and then went on a slow slope downhilll after that. I think Blur will be good though due to the Wiimote carving, but nothing can top the original two.

I don't know if anybody knows this or not.  But there are these websites on the net that review videogames, sometimes a few days before release, and they let you know what is good or bad about them.

I know they are well hidden, but I use those reviews for all my game buying decisions.

it's looking too bland IMO i prefer the crazyness of SSX tricky but i'll wait until it's finished before judging, because wiimote gameplay could be great

SSX 3 for the Xbox was one of my all time favorite games. I also played the heck out of the original SSX for the PS2. I'm hoping that the Wii version turns out to be great.

I'll be all over any version of SSX that isn't on the Wii.  I adore the series, but the Wii  version looks like a dumbed down version of On Tour, (a year & a half old game no less), with crappy graphics.  Sorry, but the Wiimote alone simply doesn't cut it for me.

I think SSX 3 was the best and Tricky was the low point! Wow... well, I think Blur looks amazing, I can't wait.

It'll be great. I can't picture playing the game with the wiimote though. I'm sure it will be fun anyway.  I'm sure it won't be fruity.

Blur will be pretty mush a rehash, few new things will be available. So far the game seems to be having only SSX3/On Tour tracks, and even though they've been revamped a bit it's nothing like the transition from SSX1 to Tricky. The gameplay is everything you know from the other games, even if you are playing with a new control scheme. There is on online at all... chances are even though the wii's controller (I don't know the name, sorry) will provide you a lot of fun in the beginning you will get tired of the game quickly if you have played SSX3 or On Tour because this is mostly a rehash. If you never played an SSX game then this game is completely worth it. I saw some friends playing SSX for the PS2 and I loved it, and in 2003 I got my PS2 with SSX Tricky, later followed by SSX3 , SSX On Tour and the original game. SSX3 has provided me the experience of my life as a gamer but Tricky's craziness, style, sound make it as much of a good game as 3. SSX3 and Tricky > SSX1 > On Tour

I also agree, SSX 3 was the best, better than Tricky though it was good also. SSX On Tour was... not so good.

Yeah, some of the level designs in that game are amazing. It has the best level designs of any SSX game so far imo.

I'd rather want a traditional one, or one that has a better control scheme... the controls look too complex for a relatively simple game. EA seems to be doing that a lot.

are you sure? look at what they did with madden for the wii... the controls alone helped it outscore the next gen counterparts

i've only played ssx on my psp, so this might be my first one
im hoping for a good multiplayer(2 ppl mainly) wii game so this might be one of the first ones

i can see it being a pretty popular game, regardless of "rehashing" or not

Personally i wouldnt buy it. I'd Rent it first, and if it has good replay value, then i'd buy it. Plus, the only SSX Game ive played is SSX 3.

I'll probably end up buying it.  It looks good enough for a purchase even though most of the tracks are remade versions of older games.
