But I want best one out of them. I mean there are definintly other aspects to consider besides games. Like free online or theblueray thing
[QUOTE="-RocBoys9489-"]Xbox 360 is more for the online gamer with upcoming games like Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, and Crackdown 2. PS3 has more exclusive games with great single players, but not as great online/communities. PS3 has the Blu-ray player and the 360 has a huge library of instant-stream 1080p movies which is just as nice IMO. If you don't have a gaming PC, the 360 is fantastic also. Besides that, 95% of both game libraries are the same and you really can't go wrong with either. I greatly prefer the 360 controller over the dualshock, you may too.Santesyubiased, you aren't no more better online gamer rather you go with 360 or ps3,, halo reach, gears 3, I could say the same for socom 4, Killzone 3.. 360 and ps3 communites are about the same via online play the difference is one talks crap via mics and the other really doesn't. I don't know anybody who plays Resistance or Killzone 2 online, but I have many friends who all play the "trifecta" of online console games: Halo-Gears-CoD. KZ2 isn't exactly the biggest online community, and I don't know what happened with Socom this gen.
If Galaxy 2 can get a 10, then Reach has every reason in the world to get a 10. It will improve on Halo 3 just as Galaxy 2 did with Galaxy 1

Are you serious? I instantly get a match in killzone 2 lots of lots of lots of people still play that game alone, And lots of people still play socom confrontation like thousands of people so I know theres gonna be lots of folks playing socom 4 whne it comes out aswell.. Resistance has good communites as well.. If you think any series is over another thats purely preferrence and is not factual, and just because you are into halo or gears still doesn't make you anymore more of a gamer via online then anyone who plays killzone 2,Resistance,Socom. etc. Different strokes for different folksbiased, you aren't no more better online gamer rather you go with 360 or ps3,, halo reach, gears 3, I could say the same for socom 4, Killzone 3.. 360 and ps3 communites are about the same via online play the difference is one talks crap via mics and the other really doesn't. Free online and Blu-ray are "big deals" to me, but they may not be for everyone. Without any consideration given regarding the games or exclusives, I think you're still getting a better value with the PS3. The hard drive may be smaller, but it's easily swappable if you actually end up needing more space. You also get free Netflix, and some other miscellaneous things.

That said, Valve did apologize for their criticism of the PS3 during the E3 conference. Then they called the PS3 the most open and "desirable" console, and now they're bringing over Steamworks, which may end up having some interesting effects on the online community.
Get an OnLive. Now you're set.ZippySlappy
This is not worth mentioning, it's not even a gaming system. In My Humble Opinion

I cant believe you're somehowtrying to tie Twilight with the size of a console's userbase.
I would say go for the PS3 120 GB. The range of exclusives offered for that console is bigger (ranging from platformers like LittleBigPlanet to shooters like Killzone 2) and the online is free (wherelse live costs $50 per year). As about the harddrive, you could easily upgrade to a 500GB harddrive for less than $70 bucks :P I also prefer the controller....coz I'm a girl gamer so my hands are smaller and the DS3 fits just fine :)
This is all in my opinion though and may be abit biased :P

Multiplatform games run better on the Xbox 360 in about every case. I would say it's a 20:1 ratio or more.
Overall Xbox 360 library is huge as oppossed to third place PS3.
Live costs less then $50 a year. I know because I actually pay it. But to get the same features as Xbox Live Sony will be charging for PSN so either way you are going to be paying.
250gb > 120gb (the extra to "upgrade" on the PS3 could be used towards Xbox Live and a game.)
360 exclusives > PS3 exclusives
Xbox Live > PSN
Xbox 360 controller > PS3 controller
Social apps on the 360 are better.
PS3 is in last place for a good reason. Don't make the same mistake like I did and waste money on a Blu-ray player classified as a gaming machine.

What the f***!?!?
I feel so old. I remember looking at a SNES and Genesis and thinking "Which one has the games that I'll want" and not "Man, I wonder if this thing can cure AIDs or make my breakfast"
When did games become irrelevant to gaming? There needs to be a name change.
Trying to use System Wars for advice on which system to get is like __________________________________. (Someone fill in the blank I can't think of anything)
Not my account but I feel by reading thesecomments that, with Ps3 having blue ray and3D being made by SonythePs3 as a produt has more potential as made by an innovative company. Also through research PS3 exclusives look alot more diverse like LBP to GOW3 to GT5.Now through otherresearch the Ps3 cell cpu, once utilised by developers willovertake 360 ingraphics department so I will be getting new Ps3. Also hear it is more reliable. :)

match player amounts are based upon dedicated servers not the service. there are dedicated server games on ps3 and 360. If a developer makes a game that needs dedicated servers then it could go on either service.
The PS3 does everything.
You can even upgrade the hard drive if you wanted.
Blu-ray capabilities.
FREE online gaming.
I believe you will get more use out of a PS3 than a 360 any day. PS3 also has a trophy system which is pretty cool. it tells you what percentage of the game is completed.
Xbox 360 now has WiFi. and a bigger hard drive. And supposedly randomly shuts off in the middle of gameplay.
I own both a 360 & PS3 and personally, my PS3 gets alot more use. The 360 has some cool games though like Left 4 Dead 2, GOW 2, Halo 3, & Bully Scholarship edition.
Why would you advise solely on exclusives? Is that what you think he will only purchase?I really wouldn't consider anything other then exclusive games as a reason for buying either one.

Blu-ray is definitely nice. Not just for the 1080p movie, which can be streamed, but for the superior sound quality, which is what really uses the bulk of the extra space.
I have gone, and would go again, with ps3. Every year I feel that the ps3 is getting better, while the 360 has kind of "plateaued" for now. It can get better, and if it does I may take the plunge on one again. Until then, however, I'm looking forward to some interesting games coming out over the next couple years on ps3.
Get a PS3 because the new slim design on the 360 is way ugly. There really isn't a reason you should get one over the other because they are both equally lacking in exclusives and are both equally expensive. A $400 console + 3 $60 games is going to be $600. Add a $500 HDTV and you could have got a great gaming PC with monitor with a resolution higher than many HDTVs and a ton of awesome games (i just bought like 10 games for about $20).
Really, The PS3 has the better exclusives, even if there aren't that many.
[QUOTE="zarshack"]Why would you advise solely on exclusives? Is that what you think he will only purchase? Why wouldn't you? Thats what makes the system unique. You aren't going to compare systems based on games they both have are you?I really wouldn't consider anything other then exclusive games as a reason for buying either one.
Stevo_the_gamer
Why wouldn't you? Thats what makes the system unique. You aren't going to compare systems based on games they both have are you?A system unique? Perhaps. Though the Xbox 360 and PS3 both have a pitifully small library of exclusives ... regardless, who said one would compare games they "both" have? A game can still be multiplatform, and not go to the other console. In that regard, the Xbox 360 has a huge advantage over the PS3 in the essence of hundreds of titles; some very good, and others not so good. But they are there none the less.zarshack
