To lemmings who say "no reason to buy a PS3 now", or "PS3 doesn't

What do you call these? You won't be able to play these on any other console. You know sooner or later sony will have price drop on the PS3 and you will buy 1. Price Point aside, it's kind of hard to deny PS3 is the best system overall. Though...in the end I guess the same could be said for the 360, but on this forum you see alot less dumb topics about the 360 failing than the PS3 (unless it's about those 3 rings!)

The root of all sony's problems is the price........ but they're already working on that. They're taking out the emotion engine, switching to 65nm chips, taking out a heating pipe (since the 65nm will produce less heat), blu ray technology is already getting cheaper, and production costs will just come down all together.

It's only you, doubtfully wishing that MGS4/FFXIII will come to the 360. You think just because the the new EA, capcom, has done so they will to. Oh....how wrong you are. Yes....i is a possibility that they could come to the 360, but for reasoning I do not want to get into says they will not. Though....360 will get the FFXIII MMORPG and maybe, maybe FFXIIIVS

You cannot tell me you do not like any of those games. These are just some of the 1st/2nd party games, and they represent about EVERY genre there is.

Yep, close to 3000 hours.

I just quit back in January (played for a year). It was indeed Crazy, i'll never do it again. lol

If the TC is real...

Price is one problem for the PS3 not the only one...another big problem is the PR / Ads / Image.

And if they did drop the price so could Nintendo and MS. 

i have no reason to buy a ps3 for one AAE shooter and two AE racers...

i'll give it time

but i have to decide between the 360 and ps3 in august... and not a whole lot is wowing me about the ps3... other than little big planet atm

No, if it's published by a console manufacturer it is 1st party.  The "parties" are publishers, not developers.  By your reasoning,  F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime and SSB:Brawl would all be 3rd party exclusives. 

As another example, Lair is made by Factor 5 and published by Sony, so it is also 1st party.  When Factor 5 developed for GameCube, the games were 3rd party exclusives because they were published by LucasArts.
