I looked at those really closely, but I think I'll either go with a 32" Samsung (I don't have a big living room), or the 40" Sony Bravia. I could "live" with either

My grandparents were loaded with diamonds, which works out for me. I don't have to buy a ring, and it's more sentimental to make a ring out of the parts given. Seriously, that works out well if u can manage that.

You should've slapped that beeitch.

Or just asked her to buy you a new one... they aren't that expensive. Just not enough value.

Tax refund?Ā  I remember the days when April 15th meant a nice refund check.Ā  This year I owe $4,800 to the IRS. Ā  I love how this country penalizes you for being successful so I can pay the bills for some crackhead mom and her 8 children.

I have the money for one already. but asking her isn't really what i'm nervous about. it's the wedding. I hate planing and i know there will be a ton of ppl. I hope they all give me the gift of $$$. She's a woman that's okay with my gaming hobby, likes to play wii with me and likes going to anime, scifi and going to conventions with me. i can't let this one go ;)

If I can convince my girlfriend that a 360 is a better investment than a new color of paint for the house,

I'm finally getting a 360.

My tax refund should be sufficient to cover that and a couple of games for it as well. :)

My girlfriend decided (without my influence) that we wouldn't have to have one. It was always my plan to tell HER that. I've been to like 16 weddings in my day, and they've ranged from 7500 to 50,000 affairs. And in the end, they just aren't worth it (unless you're a guest, then it's hella fun).

i really mean the wedding reception. We're both agnostics so married at city hall is fine. and yeah i don't want it to put us in debt as we get started. that would suck. good thing is that we're Asian so family members often give the gift of cash :)
