if it has multiplayer i ALWAYS buy for my 360 as all my friends have 360's and only 1 of my friends has a PS3 and we just find live a better experiance when play with a group of friends.
no multiplayer then i really dont care. i have no real preferance either way. i like both controllers the same... everything. so ive just ordered batman on PS3 for no other reason than ive played on my 360 alot recently with Trails and shadow complex plus my hopeless addiction to gears horde and i fancied a change.
There are three factors when picking out mulitplat games 1st. Which is the cheapest, I almost never buy a current game. 2nd Do you have friends you will want to play the game with. If so make sure you get the game on the same console has your friends. I bought SF4 for the PS3 because I got it cheap. The problem is most of my friends play it on the 360 or PC. 3rd Which is better? Are there extras will there be exclusive DLC latter for a game and so on. Even if it is the smallest thing it still better than nothing if the game costs the same on all systems. Make sure with this because you have a Wii you look at it also. There are a few muliplats mostly sports games that end up better on the Wii. HarlockJC
Pretty much how I do it.
If u own both a PS3 and a 360, I have a question. Do u ever had little troubles choosing which console u want to play a multiplat for? Example: Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5, etc. I currently have a 360 and I've been thinking about getting a PS3. So far I found about ten or more games I want that are exclusive for the PS3. Also, I am willing to pay $300 bucks for one soon especially the new slim PS3. I want to know if theres any HUGE differences if I get Tekken 6 on the PS3 rather than the 360 for example. And would it even matter? I have mostly multiplats for my 360.blazingneo32089I normally get multiplats on my 360 because of XBL, and most seem to look a tiny bit better. But I do own SF4 and MK vs DC on PS3, because fighters play better on a ps3 controller. so for tekken 6, i would say ps3.
1.which is better quality.
2.xbox live allways.
1 is pretty obvious.
2 I wanna get my 30 dollars a year worth, and any ways most of the time the xbox live version is better just from the voice, community alone.
I'm going to be getting a PS3 soon. When it comes to mulitplats it all comes down to what my friends own the game on.
The PS3 now has enough exclusives for me to consider it good enough for gaming alone on it, but also I will use to a lot for the media aspects.
Not at all. I used to pick 360 multiplats, but because of a few rrod issues i decided to buy ps3 multiplats. If a game comes with extra "exclusive" content ill most likely choose whichever gets that content
for arcade games i still choose the 360 though
I buy all mutiplats on 360. The only two exceptions being Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 because it hadn't come out on 360 and SF4 wich I bought for both systems, it's too good to miss either community.

most of my friends have xbox360 but i still buy multiplats for ps3 because its free to play online and u can always find people to game with online
xbox360 multiplats look better but not enough for me to pay to play online (and yes i can afford $30 a year)
most of my friends in rl have an xbox and are on xbl so for multiplats i always get the 360 version, i've only ever bought exclusives for the ps3
I get the one that is the best version of the game; pc version included. For batman:aa I'm getting the ps3 version because of extra content.
There are a few factors you should consider:
1) Check the reviews and get it on the system that the reviews say it is better on
2) Get it for the system with the controller that is better for the game (for racing get it on the 360, for games that use the d-pad a lot, get it on the PS3, etc.)
3) Get MP games on the system where you have the most friends
4) If none of the above apply, I get games for the PS3 because I find the physical system, the game cases and the interface more pleasing to the eye.
PS3, the scratch-resistant coating on the Blu-Rays means that I don't have to obsess over whether or not the game is instantly back in the case. I also prefer trophies to achievements, something about leveling up makes me more excited to get trophies.
well i also get multi plats on 360. but fighting games and other that use the d pad aloti get them for ps3. otherwize i like the 360 controller better. there isnt that many ps3 exclusives worth owning unless you get them for under 25 bucks. ones worth it are rfom 1-2, mgs4, lbp, kz2, thats about it. others have no replay value. motorstorm was pretty fun havent tried ms 2 yet. that might be worth a buy. buy games like hs, rachet, uncharted 1, imfamous ect ect. are all good rentals at best.
If it's coop/Multiplayer, the 360 wins. My friends list is bigger and I like XBL more.
If the games are identical, I'll go with the 360 because I don't like the DS3 or sixaxis.
So basically unless the 360 version is a total burnout, I tend to play my multiplats there.
I usually rent both versions and see which game feels better and sometimes If I really like the game I'll get both versions as I did with GTA 4 and Burnout Paradise.
finger prints= scratches. if you get finger prints on your blue rays they wont play. thats worse imo. ive got scatches and finger prints on copy of halo 3 . its plays perfect. i got just finger prints on my copy of hotshots golf and it either doesnt read or it freezes.PS3, the scratch-resistant coating on the Blu-Rays means that I don't have to obsess over whether or not the game is instantly back in the case. The only reason I would get a multiplat on PS3 if is it is the better version. I'll get Batman AA on PS3 because it has the playable Joker. Other then that I get all multiplats on the 360 for several reasons -
- I love achievements. No huge on trophies, but I love my gamerscore.
- I like XBL way better then PSN.
- I have way more friends that play on XBL
- PS3 load times made me mad.
- 360 games for the most part are cheaper then PS3 games. I know they all start at $60, but check out used games on Ebay and you will see how much cheaper 360 games are.
For me, Ps3 because a lot more of my friends have one. Also, for fighting games go for the Ps3 (The Dpad is better). Just buy multiplats on the console that you think you would like it best on, the differences are negligible

Fighting and Adventure games your probably going to end up buying for the PS3, because if like me, you owned a PS2 before you had an Xbox 360, you can't truly replicate the amazingly fun times you have with the PS2 on the Xbox 360. Which is why i bought SF4 on PS3, just how i will buy Tekken 6 on the PS3 also.
what kind of madness do you speak?you can't truly replicate the amazingly fun times you have with the PS2 on the Xbox 360

Dude, Tekken Tag Tournment, Jak Series, Ratchet series. Those type of games! It would be weird playing Jak and Daxter on the Xbox :S

I've transitioned a few times in my life :P the Playstations aren't much older than xboxI have completely gone from a Playstation fan (not fanboy!) to an Xbox fan. But certain games you have to buy on the Playsation imo :P It's probably the nostalga i get from playing it on a PS controller. Such good times on James Bond NightFire...i know thats a FPS but that game was awesome :D

Oh yeah man thanks for pointing o.... Wait, did you just try to say that finger prints=scratches? Yeah, actually you said exactly that. It's in the first line of your post! See, you might not have noticed this, but there's a difference between scratches and finger prints. Finger prints: you can wipe those off, now I'm going to outline the big difference between the two.
Ready? I don't want to have to repeat myself.
YOU CAN'T WIPE OFF SCRATCHES!
I hope you got that.
