Todays the day i leave console gaming to go to pc gaming!

Iam getting good money for my ps3 getting a video card and everything ready to pc game. I dont know ive always liked keyboard and the mouse better then a controller and iam very excited to start i have steam ready to go. i sold my wii a few years ago to fund a new 9800GT for my PC.

would never sell my PS3 or 360 though. and i ended up buying a wii again second hand for SMG2.

i like a nice balance between console and PC gaming. if i was only a PC gamer i wouldn't be playing Red Dead, SMG, GoW3, Alan wake, etc, but if i was only a Console gamer i would never of played WoW, Civ, Crysis or better versions of Fallout 3, Dragon age, Half life, Portal, L4D etc.

Problems like that aren't common, as long as you have the specs and are running a Windows OS all games should work fine. If there are issues, Google is the best tool.

Actually, I find those problems entertaining. I'll often find games that I know won't work well on my system (like Grim Fandango) and find a solution myself using troubleshooting techniques and Google. Though, I think that stems from my love of software and computers rather than my love of gaming.

PC gaming is going to be ahead for some time now so its not a bad call, you take the good with the bad though because while some games take a bit of resourcefulness to get running you can also use that resourcefulness to add some mods to make it even better. I still like to chill out on a console now and then though myself, hope you don't miss that.

cool, its a shame you cant keep your PS3 and have a gaming PC really. I mean you know you will probably want to play some of the games for it eventually and then you will regret it.

you will regret limiting yourself to one platform again. I have a console and a gaming rig i would not feel comfortable with jsut one.

Good for you, but I think its is better to keep a console and get a PC rather than sell one to get one...save for 360. Then you upgraded in my book.
