Tomb Raider comfimed to be better on PS3 then 360, Lems gonna cry?

While the 360 offers up slightly more consistent overall performance, for the most part the difference between the two games isn't significant, and it's also fair to say that the PS3 holds the advantage with regards to image quality and the general refinement of the overall presentation. This is a game where much of the experience is built around the spectacle and in that respect, PS3 offers an advantage of its 360 sibling.

In that respect the PS3 version gets our recommendation as the preferred choice of the two console releases. - Digital Foundry

Who cares? Aslong as the game is playable on both consoles there is nothing to debate about.

Yes there is, it's very important to establish and acknowledge that 1 FPS difference and 0.000001% better texture quality!

Nah, its a multiplat Uncharted killer, that should be experienced on the PC for the ultimate version.

I said Tomb Raider was better on PS3 last week. Pathetic when M$ paid for exclusive timed DLC and got the inferior version, but they deserved it.

LOL you don't have to be ab expert to see the PS3 version is better. Lemmings can get used to this because it will be the norm on PS4..

There were trade-offs, but DF went with the better IQ over the marginally better performance. Overall, great game on both systems.

Typical console fanboys debating who can get the most scraps from the table of the Master Race.

Lems love to talk about "multiplat advantages". But it's all a myth IMO. PS3 holds the edge in more and more multilpats, and even the ones that were "disasters" on PS3 aren't that big of a deal (save for maybe Skyrim at launch, obviously that was different though because rather than a "graphics" difference it was a save-file problem which caused the game to freeze, stupid programming on Bethesda's part...

I remember playing the Mafia II demo on PS3 and being shocked at how much worse it was than Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, and L.A. Noire were on PS3. But then recently I finally played 100% through the 360 version of Mafia II, and it too looks far worse than those other open world games did on PS3 - and of course HUUUGGGEEEE difference from the PC versions maxed. So while the 360 might have a negligible edge over the PS3 in that example, the game itself looks like a$s anyway, and the advantage is nowhere near what it was made out to be. 360 version is even loaded with screen tear.

PC version is the best.

That's all that matters.

I'm sure the differences are pretty much indistinguishable. Just like all multiplats, the PC version is leaps and bounds better looking than the console versions, but if I were to post screenshots of TR, and laugh at the console versions, everyone would cry and call me a PC elitist

This is a great game period, but the difference are minimal. This isn't Skyrim in terms of the game being obviously better. Oh well, cows gotta grasp on whatever they can. :)

Lol it's the same sh*t, Bayonetta was like the only game this gen that was actually better on a certain console (360).

i had no idea the difference between multiplats has been so important for cows. this gen must have been hard for them. :(
