Tony Hawk vs. Skate

I just played the Tony Hawk demo, and it's awful. I like the more realistic feel of skate. Anyone else feel the same way?

Fifa and Spiderman are also available to try. Fifa was really good.

Same here. After playing the Tony Hawk Demo, it made me realize how much better Skate is. The animations in THPG is Horrible! Tony Hawk got OWNED hard. I can't wait to pick up Skate tomorrow!xxxWigginsxxx

I don't think so. Skate is great. I don't normally go for skating games, but this one was fun. The Proving Grounds demo was trash. Skate was better in every way, imo. I would be surprised if it gets A status.

ok SKATE was better as the demo showed but I like tony hawk perspective, skate was too upclose, but heck wat do I know about skating games I have never bought one. (except X2)

I thought that part was great. It's more like it's you skating, not just some character. Whatever, to each his own, but I think skate is miles ahead of Proving Grounds.

I love the camera anlge in skate. If you ever watched skate videos that how the camera angle is. Since I had my days when I use to Skate, I really appreciate what EA did with skate and i'm truly impressed. It's going to make find spots to skate fun and challenging. No more moonwalking the skateboard as you grind the telephone wires for me.

Well I haven't played the THPG demo because my 360 is broken right now but I have almost all the other Tony Hawk games in my collection.

I can't imagine going back to Tony Hawk's button mashing gameplay instead of Skates natural feel. Because now that I think about it, press X + left feels so unrealistic compared to the flick-it controls.

Tony Hawk games are so last gen to me now that I played the Skate demo
