Wait!? Wtf!? Is BlackBond crazy? Has he lost him mind? No silly. I will logically explain 8)
A lot of people seem to think that a lot of dev time equals a good game
- Duke Nukem Forever = 10 Years
- Too Human = 9 Years
A lot of people seem to think that a huge budget equals a good game
- Too Human = Has the biggest Budget in gaming history surpassing Shenmue
- Duke Nukem Forever = Unconfirmed but man you know they sunk some serious $$$ with a 10 year dev time lol
I mean if you want further proof look at Prey. 11 Years in the making and god  that game was amazing.
Take it from me. You heard it here first. The best way to make an amazing game is this.
Long development cycle = The longer the better. Game development is like a fine wine. Games only get better with age.
Huge Budgets= Budgets in Video games are like the Yankees and the World Series. Its an automatic win everytime.
Large Development Staff = I mean Developing a game is like fighting a gang war. To quote Thugnificant, "Fight fair!? We don't fight fair we believe in overwhelming force." The more devs you have the better. I mean I'm talking bout like rolling 120 deep! Yeah that's what I'm talking bout.
So remember System Wars next time you look to hype a game. Be sure you know how much Money, Development time, and developers are working on the game BEFORE you hype it.
