Too late to get a 360?......

Well I own a PS3, and I'm really disillusioned with it. I was wandering if it's too late in thegeneration to get a 360? Like, I had an xbox and played Halo 1 and 2 but never played the online because of the lack of wireless back then. The reason i mention this is that Halo is 360's flagship game and if I don't enjoy it I don'y know if I should sell my Ps3 and games to get a 360. My friend told me the players on halo 3 are no longer human which makes me a little worried about entry level.....hehe

no.. its not too late at all. any of the popular games still have TONS of people online. u have to get halo.

Well first of all, you should never sell any gaming console to get another. More often then not--people usually end up regretting that decision. I didn't even sell mine towards another and i'm still regretting that mistake--it took me 5 times selling my consoles to actually realize I was insa.....well making the wrong choice.

But if you have to go through with it--then no, it's not too late to get an Xbox 360 at all. Are they any other games you wanted other then Halo to at least justify getting one? Also, the only non-human players in gaming are PC gamers--so don't worry too much about that.

Well I suppose I would get all the hits like Gears of War, Fable 2(is the first on available to download?), and Mass Effect. Plus, I'm a huge CoD fan and MW2 is pretty mch treated as a 360 exclusive. I have been watching this show TV show, SLIDERS recently, and there was an episode where they went to a parallel dimension, and what you heard about the PS3 was the entire premise of the episode! There were PS3's getting burnt out after a year, 360's that lasted forever, and menacing alien-cyborg-elephants with human brains that worked for Joseph Stalin's grandson! It was sweet.

Remember that part with the flying razor sprinkled donuts? Great lulz on that part, but they got out of there just in time!

Not sound logic, eh? Well the way I looked at it was why keep a system for multiplats only when I could get a different system with the better versions of said multiplats AND better exclusives. Oh, and please tell me you are kidding about the "welcome to boards, 80 posts" act. I mean, that would REALLY be offensive. I should definately try to spend more time on the computer posting threads and posts on a videogames site. Such a better use of my time then studying for college and other trivial things.............................:roll:

Seeing as this generation is going to last for some years to come, it is definitely not too late to get a 360. However, do not sell your PS3. It is being flooded with stellar games right now and more are to come

Why would be too late to get a 360? Its very popular, has great games and 2010 looks the best year ever!!!

If you need to buy the wifi adaptor it's not worth it imo, you need to pay for that and for Live, and the Halo community has seen better days. And yes you will get crushed lol. If you do go for it, don't get Halo 3 get ODST. I wouldn't sell your PS3 though, I really think you'll regret that. If money isn't a problem it's well worth it, if money is a prob, I'd wait for some sort of deal or something, maybe a wifi 360 sku with a year free of live? :P

Meh let him sell it he seems like he already made up his mind. Besides its the only way you learn, I sold my gamecube before i found out resident evil 4 and the remakes were coming out so i had to buy it back etc. If he see's something for the ps3 and has to buy a ps3 again at least this way he learns in the long run.

The system has a well-established library of games,which took some time,so I don't see how it could be "too late" to get the system.Make the purchase,if it really interests you.

It's kinda like mood swings butwith electronicslol I loved Uncharted 1, probably one of my favorite games ever, so I'll be getting the second one. Only thing is, I live in college dorms and I can't get me PS3 connected so I don't know if there has been any system/game updates......has there?

I haven't done a PS3 update in what seems like months...but updates go so fast for me, my memory may play tricks on me.

There's always tons of noobs online in Halo 3. Don't worry about it. You may run into a guy with a second account now and then who will rape the hell out of you and your squad single handidly but just don't let it bother you.

I don't like Halo, yet the Xbox 360 is my most used console. Never too late, but I'd never sell my PS3 for it if I was you.

Just rent a 360 with halo3/ODST over a weekend and you will get bored of it.

why would it be too late? they aren't releaseing a new system that i know of and there are loads of games out and in the future....
