From that list I will pick Haze or GOW2. I have small doubts about Killzone 2 because the first one wasn't very well received.

The years not done yet but I will agree that last year was a very good year for shooters. I would also like to add Far cry 2 to this list because it was left off and I have some somewhat high expectations for it.

STALKER Clear Sky or BIA Hell's Highway

Left 4 Dead also has a chance.

Out of those mentioned, BiA: HH.

In all actuality though I think the STALKER: Clear Skies will be a great shooter.

I'll be buying Killzone 2 and Resistance 2. Gears 2 might end up being great, but you can't knock 2 possible great games in favor of 1.

Haze honestly looks floppy to me. I don't have any hype for that game.

Haze, then Gears... killzone is looking great but i wont be able to play it so i wont vote for it xDxithrix

Out of that list:

1. What I want to be the best? Killzone 2

2. What has the most proof to be the best so far? Resistance 2, (im basing this on the fact that Insomniac is doing it, which is one of the best developers out now for PS3 hardware and they plan to improve on virtually everything from the first game)

I was originally slated for April this year but was delayed until Fall this year. The project lead said they were on track for a September release and he sees know reason why it won't happen. He also added the main reason it was April was because of the console versions. They decided to do simultaneous release so as the console version get caught up, they are just adding extra content to the PC version.

Tuesday? Doesnt the store update every Thursday though? Or is it like a special thing goin on...but yea Im gonna say R2 just because it has a mix of everything(horror, action, you name it)

I'd have to agree... the first Resistance was amazing online and the stroy was great. Now, with 2 campaigns, 60P online, co-op for 8 players, and enhanced graphics/weapons, this game will be amazing...

I call this "the year of the shooter let down", because the majority of the shooters I was looking to (Project Origin, FarCry 2 for example) have so for looked disappointing.

If anything maybe Resistance 2? Since the first one was a solid FPS. Haze has somewhat peaked my interested but I doubt any good will come from it.

It'd be real nice of those fellas at Microsoft and Epic if they released the PC version of Gears 2 around the same time as the X360 release, but since M$ is a cash cow, that aint happening.
