TOOO many FPS coming out!!!!!

we got home front,

bullet storm,crysis 2, gears of war 3,

brink,killzone 3, duke nukem(fail), and a lot more coming out and they all seem to be brings some thing new or changing older stuff that didnt work and making it work.

bullet storm looks just like gears 3 but removed the serious story and replaced it with some arcade style "kill with skill" lol (not saying its a bad thing)

crysis 2's mulitplayer looks sweet, gears 3 is "fixing" everything they messed up in gears 2,brink looks like borderlands+crysis+cod4=impressive,duke nukem loooks lmae!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! killzone 3 looks sweet just like kill zone 2. and thats just 2 many good looking multiplayer fps games there wont be enough time to play them all and ima be to busy playing mass effect 3 and forza 4

gears 3 is a TPS, not and FPS. don't know why so many people get this confused.

Lemme sort them out for you: For a start, you've listed Gears 3, which is a TPS, and so it doesn't really count. Brink looks like kinda a cross between Mirror's Edge and Enemy Terittory Quake Wars, with some Borderlands thrown in for good measure. RAGE is a cross between Fallout 3, something like Borderlands and Motorstorm. Deus Ex Human Revolution is a kind of FPS/RPG with a ton of ways to approach a situation and a ton of upgrades and the like. We've got games like Killzone 3, Crysis 2, Modern Warfare 3 which will have fast paced, kinda intense MP modes, with Crysis 2 looking like it'll have the best SP by a way although all of them, especially MW3, look on the generic side. Not as much as Homefront, however. We've then got more tactical shooters like Red Orchestra 2, a PC exclusive, Battlefield 3 and Operation Flashpoint Red River. We have STALKER 2, which I don't know much about, other than it's a sequel to STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl which I quite liked and it's going to consoles from being a PC exclusive series. Bulletstorm and Duke Nukem Forever are the definition of silly, not that it's a bad thing, for all we know they might be incredible fun, they probably will be in fact. Can't say I know too much about Resistance 3, although I doubt it's gonna be as good as some are hyping it. If we're incredibly lucky, we'll get a Half-Life game late on in the year and early in 2012 we should have Bioshock Infinite, which looks awesome. So yeah, the next year is incredibly densely populated with FPS's, Ive probably missed some, but there's a basic guide. I have no idea how many are actually going to be good, but hey, with that many, at least one should be decent :) Yes, we do have a hell of a lot of shooters coming out this yearTheOtherTheoG

Just dont buy the ones that suck.... I'm still loving Blackops right now, i have interest on MW3. But I'm sure once I see a trailer for it the hype will eventually get me :P I'm also exited for Killzone 3, I didnt even like KZ2, but I've read its improved a lot.

Bulletstorm looks NOTHING like gears... Ignoring the fact that it uses the UE3 engine... its a FPS, its set in brightcolorfullocales, its combat system is completely different with a focus on using both weapons AND environments (often times TOGETHER) to kill your opponent... how is this ANYTHING like Gears which is a cover based by the numbers TPS? Its like comparing Miami Vice and Bad Boys 2...

Man I know, but the majority look good! KZ3 looks very impressive, I'll buy and sell likely when I'm done with it. Brink looks fantastic, I'm looking forward to it. The Duke is unhateable. Bulletstorm looks like a breath of fresh air to get back into an arcadey game over realism (THANK GOD). Crysis 2 looks like its damn well put together. Gears 3 I will never buy because the previous 2 were the most overrated pieces of crap I've ever played (I know its a TPS, yes I have played them.).

Even though it's not an FPS, I'm only looking forward to Gears 3.

..And maybe Brink.
