Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I understand Gears though, you can see the cross section of the anatomy and all that but GoW?I agree with Manhunt being the most violent.
How is GOW more violent than GTA though?Â
the-very-best
Left out Resident evil 4 ......(Wolverine guys claws right through face =ouch :( )shadow_702I thought RE4 was much more violent than God of War. Why isn't it on this damn list?
They should replace GOW with GOW2, they definitely doubled the violence in that game. Some of it was a little too much.
and yeah  big mistake not including RE4 maybe they didn't play it?!?!
shadow of rome should be on there.111v
Â
We demand another Shadow of Rome game Capcom. Less stealth, more fighting!Â

trueI'd put Wii Sport on that list. Seriously, have any other games actually sent people to the hospital? I think not.Acemaster27
Spyro the Dragon.

Dont worry, Spyro would be a great candidate for the list of top 10 most emotional distressing games.Killer 7's visual style pretty much kills any impact the violence might have. Its about as violent as Space Invaders in that regard.JiveT...please tell me you've played the game before making that incredibly baseless statement... This game is bloody, it's gory, and pretty crazy. You really want me to name some of the stuff that happens in this game...?

Besides the stuff allready mentioned in the article... The girl with her back ripped open, Curtis busting in shooting people in the head, and killing a prostitute, Curtis getting his entire torso drilled, A person exploading, People geting half their heads blown off, people exploading, a dead mexican wrestler in the shower, A person getting sniped in the face, two men getting machine gunned to fricken hell, and the classic gun in mouth suicide. Believe me, there is plenty more too, I just forgot..

OMG! Happy Feet was so violent! remember when you pecked peoples eyes out!?Kirby Adventures, Super Mario World 2, Happy Feet, those are lethal games.

I think, Postal (2), and the greatest violent NES/SNES game SMASH TV should be added to the list.
Edit: I also forgot about Carmageddon.

Total Carnage was more violent than Smash TV. And does anyone remember Quarantine on the PC/3DO? :)Â
How about Godfather for the Wii? I haven't played it yet, but although it doesn't look as gory as some, the feeling of violence from using the Wiimote and nunchuck could put it in the class.
If you haven't seen it check out the demo on youtube
