Boom Blox is a EA game, as is the upcoming Fight night 4, both will be great. People hate EA because it's cool to hate them, yet they look like nothing but sheep following the emo crowd.
People seem to forget that video games is a business,,, and EA are just really good at it.

EA is good at ripping people off by charging full retail price for a "new" game every year. They are also experts at buying smaller studios and milking their franchises until the udders turn red. Name me one franchise that had better quality then the previous game after EA bought the studios. Remember how much better C&C and Ultima series were before EA bought them?
If by saving you mean trying to monopolise the gaming industry as a whole, the way they've monopolised the sports games sector, then yes it is "saving" gaming.
But for those with a brain and some historical perspective, no it is not saving anything.
