Is anyone actually excited about Metroid: Other M?

They turned out beloved Metroid into another anime trash clone.

Personally as a huge Prime fan I'm not looking forward to the new Metroid very much, although I have hope for it. I'm looking forward to the unannounced game being made by Retro more than the new Team Ninja Metroid, just based on the fact that Retro is working on it (although that likely won't come out until 2011, so it obviously wouldn't go on a 2010 list.)

First of all, it's being made by Team Ninja WITHOUT Itagaki, not by Retro. The last Ninja Gaiden was a pretty big let down and without Itagaki the studio is going to bemuch, muchworse . From the short trailer it looks like it is just the sort of action, action, action that typifies Team Ninja games rather than the exploration and adventure focused gameplay that made Prime so good to begin with, and it looks like it has the confusing and sometimes frustrating camera system that is synonymous with Team Ninja games.

I'm also looking forward to Mass Effect 2 probably more than any other game in 2010, lots of people are.
