Halo sounds good but there are alot more games that deserve to be in the top 10. Most of Halo's music is digitally synthesized, that's what i don't like about it :/

My top ten would be something like

1) Final Fantasy VI
2) Chrono Trigger
3) Legend of Zelda OOT
4) Halo
5) Megaman 2
6) Super Mario Bros 3
7) Grim Fandango
8 ) Lost Odyssey
9) Sonic 3 & Knuckles
10) KOTOR

There are probably a few PS2/PS3 games that should be up there as well, but I haven't played them as much, so none are popping into my head atm.KodiakGTS

Yeah but I haven't played those yet =p

Got an Xbox used for super cheap the other day so I have Halo 1 and 2 but I've decided not to play 2 until I finish 1, and I've only played Halo 3 with friends on their 360 in multiplayer so not heard any music there. More games should put ingame music in their multiplayer.

And yes, I am a huge fan of Nintendo's music. :P

Hitman series always had great sound tracks. It's my favorite. I'd leave the games on just to hear the sound track.

Can't leave out the Grand Tourismo series. MGS3 was also very good. I don't like the Final Fantasy series, but the music is absolutely top notch.

But the winner is Super Mario Brothers. It's probably the most recognized video game music on earth.
