I wouldn't say best, but it is certinly good if you plan on using Blu-Ray. If not it's not worth the price.

Hey, there's not denying the truth. Resistance is a "good" game, but nothing great. I played about 15games online last night and no game had more than 20 players.

i play all the time on my ps 3 no problems. you don't see people saying there machine dyed as much as the 360 on these forums and ther eare more lemmings on here. 9. sony already stayed that they will replace it for free. beside the controller battiery last about 8 years im sure the controller will be worn out by then.

Its a matter of opinion really. I think PDZ is better than R:fom I have played and beaten both. PDZ is more challenging, the co-op is good, MP is fun,PDZ is a solid game. R:fom has a way better story than PDZ and the weapons I think are alil better than PDZ.

R:fom just felt like Red Faction 2 mixed with COD and Half Life aliens. The game isnt that challenging...I mean there are parts that are hard but compared to PDZ, R:fom is a breeze frankly.

1. Playstation Brand - Losing credabilty every day

2. Reliable Hardware - That's valid, I guess.

3. Great Franchises - Which are jumpin ship because of the low estimated PS3 intall base

4. Blu-Ray built-in- raising the PS3's price to the 'more than a months rent' level

5. Upgradable HDD - Ditto for 360

6. Ethernet Input - Ditto for 360

7. Wifi built in - Ditto with Wii

8. CompactFlash, SD Memory Card and Memory Stick Duo card slots - You'll need these too, because it won't interact with the data that's already on your PC.

9. Wireless Controllers with built in rechargable battery which connects to the console to recharge - The batteries can't be replaced... great feature.

10. Linux Operating System... forgive me my jawbreaking yawn.

11. PSP to PS3 connectivity... so long as they are within 10 feet of each other. Remote Connect, my eye!

12. XMB- Able to easily navigate through the system whether you want to Play music CDs,
Connect to the internet to obtain detailed album information including album title, artist, length of album. Copy CDs directly to your hard drive. Store and listen to other formats of audio/music files. Play Blu-ray Discs and DVDs.Connect your digital video camera directly to the Playstation 3 with a USB cable. Store and watch your own videos. 14. Bluetooth compatibility- You are able to connect most bluetooth devices to the system wirelessly, but you aren't able to use it with your $200 universal remote... the one that works with everything else.

15. Backwards Compatibility- Able to play most PS1 and PS2 games on the system- unless you are European, but even if you aren't, it's a blurry jaggie-fest.

16. Community Interactions- Talk with others during game play. Send, receive and store text messages. Enjoy an audio chat anytime you’re online with headset. Keep track of people you’ve played online. - It's like the 360, just with all the user friendly perks removed. Perfect for chatting with a friend while staring at the crossbar about a game that you would like to play together which won't support chatting in game.

17. Web Browser - ditto Wii, and 360 (if you have a Media Center or Vista PC)

18. Keyboard & Mouse support -the mouse is a valid plus, but keyboards are 360 compatable.

19. Free game demo's - Ditto Wii and 360

20. Free movie and game trailers - Ditto 360

Conclusion: it doesn't do much to justify it's price, but at least your PS3 won't break down on you. And it supports a mouse!

Reason why the XBox 360 is the best console
1. It has and will continue to have the best games like Mass Effect, Halo 3, HaloWars, Bioshock, Banjoo 3, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Gears of War, Forza 2, PGR4, Crackdown, Two Worlds...etc.)

Hey man, don't bother writing threads like this. Lemmings are delusional and will try to spin anything around so it'll go in their favor. Let them have their fun saying irrational things like "PS3 isn't selling well" and that "PS3 sucks" when it just came out, just laugh it off, we know which console is best and which will sell the best. I have a question for the Lemmings, what numbers do you think 360 would've been at this time last year if it launched in U.S. and Japan only like PS3 did. Nuff said. Us Cows are having fun with our Playstation 3 and thats all that matters. PS3 will sell the best in the end and the Lemmings know that. Look at the Westernized line-up on 360, and you lems say that will win the console wars, thats laughable at best. An American console has never won a generation when a japanese console was present. 360 has little appeal to worldwide audiences, the Lems know that. Let them enjoy FPS #2231 and their PC ports, thier irrational opinions don't matter.
