2- Zelda : TP (though it didn't score that bad, but the number of Nintendo fans' GS account suicide alone puts it at #2)

3- Resistance (not a bad score either. However, the gears of war + halo multiplayer killer hype landed this baby at #3).

hehe :P, I guess the early reviews of other websites led the poor PS3 fans to the GOTY hype trap.

anyway, I read in the official post that it was hyped AA. And thought it might not be that big of a flop

New IPs people were hoping greatness from (less impact)

1. Lair
2. Red Steel
3. Blue Dragon

1) Lair: This was suppose to be the game that everyone would flock to PS3 once they saw the awesomeness of this stinker. I will admit it looked awesome, although controling the awesomeness was another story

2) Red Steel: I was more stoked for this then Zelda, it was the first game I put in my Wii. Then after three hours I kept asking myself: "If I have a gun, why the heck am I not shooting this guy with the sword?"

3) Blue Dragon: The dude who gave birth to Final Fantasy was going to singlehandedly hand 360 its first JRPG franchise and it ended up most of us were playing Eternal Sonata a week after it was released.

GS BS Review Flops: Lair, Ratchet & Clank, Heavenly Sword

Real World Flops: Halo 3 doing nothing new, Smash Bros. Delay, PS3 in general.

2. Twilight Princess, just for the sheer chaos that followed.

3. Ratchet & Clank. People were already afraid GS would give MP3 an AA, but R&C NO ONE expected to get below AA. Similar to Lair, but not as bad.
