Top 5 badasses in gaming (56k)

I havent seen one of these threads since 2007 and i think theres been alotof new badasses since then towarrant a new thread. So who are you top 5 badasses? (this gen or all time). These are my current top 5, most are current gen:

5. Nariko : Who says women cant be badass? Not only does she have great looks, she pretty much destroys an army of 10,000 (playable!) single-handedly among other things that make her worthy of being on this list.

4. Geralt : I know absoloutely nothing about this guy, never played the witcher and have barely seen any videos. All i know is that judging from the pictures i've seen, hes someone i dont wanna get into a bar fight with!

3. Saren : Insane villain.I think the thing that gets me with him is the voice. The actor did a really good job of making him feel very sophisticated whilst being strong and heartless.

2. Ryu Hayabusa : Nuff' said.

1. Kazuma Kiryu : I doubt many people know who he is but for those who do will know why hes number 1 on my list and should be on everyone elses. This guy is the walking definition of badass. I could sit here all day, explaining some of his antics, but that would take a long long time. All you gotta know is, hesda man.

5) Nariko. proved that sexy can also be deadly.

4) Max Payne. a detective in the NYPD that succumbs to insanity when his family is killed by a drug cartel and proceeds to go on a killing rampage.

3) Marcus Fenix. a man who was thrown in prison after going AWOL trying to save his father's life from the Locusts. when the chairman of the COG releases all military prisoners and reenlists them due to the COG's dwindling numbers, he gets thrown back into delta squad. he kills Locusts like he's squashing bugs. literally, because curb-stomping your enemies head off is just badass, let alone chainsaw them into pieces.

2) Kratos. how is fighting and killing God's not badass? and to do so in a malicious and grotesque manner is just the icing on the cake.

1) The Master Chief (John-117). the only badass in gaming that travels the galaxy killing enemies in retribution. in the process of killing them, he has to deal with maniacal parasites that have been alive for thousands of years, robots and sentients that survived after the "purge" and were the creation of the Forerunners. he also has to stop three demented zealots from firing the Halo rings and purging the galaxy of all life in what the prophets and the covenant falsly believe is called the "great journey", a spiritual ascension to heaven.

the doom guy only travel from earth to mars and to two of mars' moons. he hasn't even travelled the entire solar system.

so until i, or someone else, get's info on samus' travels, chief is the only character to travel the galaxy.

5.kratos he kills gods nuff said most people prolly think he should be number 1 buts hes about as smart as a stick

4.ryu sure kratos kills gods but the demons that ryu faces with there grapples that get ride of 3/4 of your health make kratos enemys look like bunnys

3.albert wesker before resident evil 5 turned him into a bumbling tool wesker was one of the biggest master minds there was

2.niko bellic most people wont agree with this but niko was great he was so in depth and just a regular guy u didnt wanna mess with

1.kuja he looks like a girl but hes probally the biggest psycho path to ever grace the ps1 when he finds out hes not the perfect being he believes he is he comes to the conclusion if i cant live forever no one will and begins his true mission

Quite a nice list actually, very minimalistic in the sense you don't really have any muscle bound idiots like Kratos Marcus Fenix.. Or any of the obvious ones like Solid snake etc.. I like it.

Don't you just ******* hate it when you make a big post and accidentally hit reset? Anyway, I'll make it basic:

1. Duke Nukem

He killed an entire alien armada multiple times, always with an incredible attitude. The ladies love him and the aliens crap themselves at the sight of him.

2. Doom Guy

He killed himself to get into hell, then destroyed an entire demon population before leaving. Balls.

3.) BJ Blazkowicz

He killed Hitler and single-handedly ended the war.

4.) Max Payne

During the worst winter storm in a century, he destroyed a New York mob family and fought through a heavily-armed militia to kill his family's murderer. Even after being beaten with a bat and drugged with a potentially-lethal serum, his determination never fell.

5.) Riddick

He's a man of few words but he'll send chills down your spine when he does speak. Cross him and he won't hesitate on slitting your throat with a rusty shiv. He also escaped from the biggest and most secure prison in the galaxy.
