Black Belt/Monk/Master from Final Fantasy 1. Seriously, one time I hit Chaos for 40,000 damage in one attack, which becomes more significant when put into the context of the game... Nothing in the game has more than 4,000 HP. Now, tell me any other video game character that can do enough damage to kill the boss of the game 10 times over in one attack? That's the true definition of badassery.

lara croft didn't travel the galaxy, only earth.

samus i have to check.

the doom guy only travel from earth to mars and to two of mars' moons. he hasn't even travelled the entire solar system.

so until i, or someone else, get's info on samus' travels, chief is the only character to travel the galaxy.

made a mistake. you were talking about sexy when you said samus and lara croft. well, samus is always in that suit, so there goes her sexy. lara croft kills anyone getting in her way of making discoveries, not because she's pissed and wants revenge. but yea, lra's hot. there's also morrigan from dark stalkers, rayne from bloodrayne, and alicia from bullet witch.

The old school lara croft wasn't the independent "doing this to prove women aren't useless" symbol that the new one turned out to be. She even flirted with some of the male antagonists in the first one. Yahtzee nailed it in one of his tomb raider reviews. Anyway, what I am saying is her character was better in the first games.

what's not badass about floating threw soace without an oxygen pack to deliver the covenants nuke back to them in their ship's drive core? that's like dropping a nuke on a nuclear power plant.

Saying that, Kratos is definitely the most bad-ass.

Nice! Took me 5 seconds to remember the guy, but he's bad-ass alright.

1. Big Boss. I love Solid Snake but Big Boss is the ORIGINAL Snake.

2. John Marston, the newcomer badass.

3. MacMillian and/or Captain Price. MacMillian is the badass who tutored Price in the ways of badassedness but Price is the guy we all know and love.

As for the rest... I need to play a bigger variety of games before I judge.
